Bannon: Trump will win reelection with '400 electoral votes'
The Hill ^ | October 14, 2017 | Josh Delk

Former White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon said Saturday that President Trump will "win with 400 electoral votes in 2020," following reports that he had lost faith in the president's ability to complete his current term.

"The populist, nationalist, conservative revolt that's going on, that drove Donald Trump to victory, that drove Judge [Roy] Moore to victory, that will drive 15 candidates to victory in 2018, and I hate to break it Graydon Carter and the good folks at Vanity Fair, but yes, President Trump is not only going to finish this term, he's going to win with 400 electoral votes in 2020," Bannon said during a speech at the Values Voter Summit in Washington.

Bannon reportedly said several months ago that Trump only has a 30 percent chance of finishing his current term, a source told Vanity Fair, who said the president also did not know the function of the 25th Amendment, which allows a majority of the Cabinet to vote for the president to be removed from office.

Bannon returned to the far-right Breitbart News outlet after leaving the White House in August. The former Trump strategist said he left his post to be a "wingman outside" the White House for Trump to help advance the president's agenda.

In his speech Saturday, Bannon also committed that he would "get to the progressive Democrats," but said that "right now it's a season of war against the GOP establishment."

Bannon laid out his plans to back challengers to establishment Republicans in Congress for the 2018 midterm elections in an interview earlier this week.

"There's a coalition coming together that is going to challenge every Republican incumbent except for Ted Cruz," Bannon told Fox News's Sean Hannity on Monday.

Bannon rallied for former judge Roy Moore in Alabama's Senate GOP runoff last month. Moore defeated Sen. Luther Strange, who was endorsed by Trump and congressional Republicans.

Trump surpassed the necessary 270 electoral votes in the Electoral College to defeat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. Trump won 304 electoral votes to Hillary Clinton's 227.

It seems doable.

The opposition is mostly the establishment media.

They do not seem smart, organized, or energized.

They mostly seem to be stupid, irrational, liars.

It may have served them well in the past. Those days are over.

Is this the same Steve Bannon who three days ago said Trump has only a 30% chance of finishing his first term as President? (Yes, he said that, and to The Vanity Fair!)

That Steve Bannon? He lost me when he made that remark, unless it was a strategy to give the libs false hope, encourage them to keep acting nutty.

Not sure where Bannon is picking up another 94 votes. NH and ME seem doable as well as NV and perhaps MN, NM and CO. That’s about 30 or so more EVs.

Breitbart needs its own TV station. All they have to do is merge with OANN and it’s done. OANN has the infrastructure - they are already available live-streaming and Breitbart has the name recognition. This new Breitbart America News channel would blow everyone else out of the water.

Hell, he would have won 400 EV this election had not CRUZ and a large number of NeverTrumpers all but endorsed Hillary, with many of them thinking that Trump would govern as a Leftist, given his history.

So now the doubts about Trump being a Leftist are over, and other than a few Republicans who cannot get past their hurt feelings (channeling Mr. Cruz)...the VAST MAJORITY of NeverTrumpers will be voting for Trump in 2020...so yes, 400 EVs is certainly within reach.

Trump surpassed the necessary 270 electoral votes in the Electoral College to defeat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election. Trump won 304 electoral votes to Hillary Clinton's 227.

He won 306, but two of his electors failed to execute their duties.

2020 will be another historic blowout for Trump. Simple things like using their own words and countless videos of their anti-Trump violence, show the democrats and their well supported friends tearing down Americans statues and history, screaming in folks faces, etc and on and on.

Any attempt by Congress and the Washingtonian political class or pornographers to impeach Trump in absence of any high crimes or misdemeanors would be the next stage of the coup that has been in progress since election night.

Trump would be well within his rights to drop a MOAB on the conspirators, impose martial law, and take back control from the treacherous Federal Apparatchik, putting normal people from outside DC in charge.

Status quo a no go.

SMASH THE SYSTEM, WASHINGTONIANS OUT!

I read something about the above. “Unnamed sources”. IOW, made up lies.

Did you see Bannon’s speech at the Values Voters thing?

You are not qualified to lick Steve Bannon’s shoes. Ankle biters like you are really annoying.
