Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said in an interview broadcast Sunday that no law could have stopped the suspected shooter, Stephen Paddock, who was behind last week's mass shooting in Las Vegas.
Feinstein spoke on CBS News’s “Face the Nation” about gun legislation in the wake of the attack launched from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel targeting a country music concert.....

no no no- all you have to do is pass a law that noone can own clips that hold more than 8 rounds- and ban all gun attachments that make the gun look cool- that would have stopped the mass casualties- just ask NY who passed their asinine ‘safe act’ years ago- They are bragging that if the safe act was nationwide- it would have prevented the shooter from accumulating guns and large ammo clips and all would be well with the world today- if only we had more more more laws making it illegal to shoot others in non self defense situations

Since we need more stupid laws to enforce....why not make a law that limits all hotel construction to one single ground floor? No more 40-story buildings that would give the shooter lots of viewing territory. Vegas has tons of open space and can easily build 60-acre hotels.

Feinstein sounded “rational” for a second. We had better carve those words in stone and date it because it may be the only time she’s going to sound that way.

Someone with only minor home workshop skills could make a motorized trigger actuator that would give a more consistent rate of fire and better control of the weapon.
