Donna Brazile will celebrate the one-year anniversary of President Donald Trumps election with the publication of her book Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns that Put Donald Trump in the White House.
Brazile was chosen as interim Democratic National Committee chair after the Wikileaks release of internal party emails last year precipitated the resignation of Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Brazile became a favorite target of Trump and his supporters after an email released in a separate hack appeared to show she slipped a question to Hillary Clinton ahead of one of the Democratic primary debates.
Braziles publisher Hachette promises a book that is equal parts campaign thriller, memoir, and roadmap for the future. The publisher did not say how much the book deal was worth.
Brazile has kept up criticism of Trump since the election, but she has focused most on keeping attention on Russian involvement in the election and warning that not enough is being done about it.
Ive been a Democrat all my life, but Im an American first, Brazile said in announcing the book deal. At a moment when our democracy is in crisis, its time to tell the truth about what went wrong in 2016. Our nation is under unprecedented assault, and if we dont get the facts out, it will happen again and worse than you can imagine.
Though shes one of the most experienced Democratic operatives in national politics, Brazile has said nothing prepared her for the revelations about Kremlin-directed activity to meddle in the 2016 election or for the personal toll it took on her, which included strange packages being sent to her home.
I was scared, Brazile told POLITICOs Off Message podcast in February, remembering her first briefing with law enforcement about the extent of the hack. I was scared that first day and night. I went home that night, I couldn't talk to anybody because I had a I couldn't even tell the staff what was happening to them.
Coming soon to a Dollar Tree store near you.
It is an autobiography. So Hacks is proper.

“Hacks - Or How In Spite of What We Did, Including Feeding Debate Questions to Hillary, the White Boy Still Won This One” - Donna Brazile.....
“the personal toll it took on her, which included strange packages being sent to her home.”
As a serious news outlet, Politico throws out this teaser then reveals zip about contents of these threatening “strange packages” (words associated with Bill Clinton in the Starr report). What a pathetic attempt to create a buzz for her joke book. Ms. Brazile is alive and annoying, so we can rule out the polonium brick of my dreams. So what was it, Politico? Horsehead? Questions from CNN for Hillary’s next debate? November ballots all filled out and ready to count?

or “ How We Threw Bernie Under the Bus”.
I’ll bet Seth Rich was scared too, Donna. The Republicans didn’t assassinate you, but when you run afoul of the Clintons, you don’t live to write a book.
Well, she certainly is one.
Brazile was a Jesse Jackson supporter in the 1980’s. Then it was all downhill from there. /sarc
The Hypocrisy is so powerful in this one, she has a skyscraper protruding from her eye.
“Hacks”
Wackjobs is more like it.
