Dennis Rodman just gave Kim Jong Un ‘The Art of the Deal.’ And it may be a genius move.
TOKYO — If Donald Trump was hoping to use the negotiating skills honed during decades in business to strike a bargain with Kim Jong Un, he’d better think again.
Dennis Rodman, the former basketball star who’s now on his fifth visit to Pyongyang, just presented a copy of “The Art of the Deal” to the North Korean leader. That means Kim — a man Trump has already called a “pretty smart cookie” — might be wise to Trump’s tactics if the two ever meet.
In the 1987 book, Trump lays out key principles to stick to during a negotiation — basically, the recipe to his success. These include mantras such as “think big” and “maximize your options.”
Rodman had hoped to see the 33-year-old North Korean leader — to whom he once sang “Happy Birthday” from the basketball court — during this latest visit to North Korea. That doesn’t appear to have happened yet.

I heard that Rodman is secretly working for Trump and he was sent over to assassinate Kim. CNN had the story, I think.
I read somewhere today, can't find the article now, that Rodman actually presented the book the "Sports Director" in North Korea, not Kim.
More likely a violation of the 1798/99 Logan Act wherein a private US citizen is prohibited from negotiating foreign policy with a foreign government.
Under a strong govt, Tom Hayden would have been shot for treason under this law (I don’t believe in short jail terms for traitors), among other leaders of the red-dominated “Peace Movement”.
Now Rodman’s defense is that his nose rings are actually secret transmitters of what the Fat Boy is talking about, so this would make Rodman a CIA/NSA spy. Wonder how the Fat Boy would take this kind of “collusion”?
First, Rodman needs to learn the meaning of ‘colluding’. Then, he might move on to understanding ‘aiding and abetting’.
I thought Rodman and the Prez were on a frindly basis.

Nancy Pelosi violated the Logan Act in 2007, during one of George W. Bush’s terms. She even covered her head in submission to Syrian custom.
She suffered zero negative consequence. Maybe the Logan Act is one of many that is talked about, but no longer actually enforced.
Martell: You are right about the Logan Act not being enforced, but if a charge under it were brought against a leftist traitor, just the presentation of facts about the individual and their acts of treason would be worth seeing.
Sometimes you can destroy your enemy just by exposing who they are and what they did.
