President Donald Trump's first address to Congress received largely positive reviews from viewers, with 57% who tuned in saying they had a very positive reaction to the speech, according to a new CNN/ORC poll of speech-watchers.
Nearly 7-in-10 who watched said the President's proposed policies would move the country in the right direction and almost two-thirds said the president has the right priorities for the country. Overall, about 7-in-10 said the speech made them feel more optimistic about the direction of the country.
The survey, conducted among a group of Americans who said in interviews conducted before the speech that they planned to watch and agreed to be re-contacted, only reflects the views of those who watched the speech, not of all Americans.
People who choose to watch a political speech such as this one tend to be more supportive of the speaker. In this case, the pool of speech-watchers was about eight points more Republican than the population as a whole.....

This poll means a STAGGERING number of independents like Trump.
That’s great.
It is encouraging that in today’s celebrity-obsessed, multi-gendered, couch-sitting-focused society, such a huge fraction of Americans still “get it”.
The sound you hear are liberals weeping and gnashing their teeth.
Trump just opened his 2020 Presidential campaign.
This was the best campaign speech EVER. Incidentally, it also outlined his coming strategy for his stay in the White House.
And Maxine Waters missed it.
The Donald does not disappoint. And perhaps for the first time ever, MILLIONS of Americans got to see Donald Trump, unfiltered.
The progressive left is hemorrhaging credibility.
They have been telling us that Trump’s speeches are only appealing to his base, and tu tu’ing as inconsequential.
But he’s not. He’s actually appealing to and stealing from the base of the classical democratic center right.

In other words...
The ONLY ONES who didn’t like it, were the demonrats.
You could make the argument that republicans are naturally going to like it.
But when the majority of the independents like it,
then it just makes the dems look like crying little b**ches.
But hey...I’M GOOD WITH THAT :)
