As I keep posting on these post mortem threads - the Democrats need to be loud and be proud, and take a hard left turn. Be open and honest about it. Go with your gut and go left. It's what everyone wants. I'm just sure that that's the road to electoral success.

I think the LA Times is right. I suggest they put Hillary up again in 2020, she’d beat Trump then. They should also install Keith Ellison as DNC head and keep featuring Nancy Pelosi. Good on you, DNC and good on you, LA Times!
Add to Trump’s coalition the unemployed, under employed, and underpaid Democrat voters who all become better off under Trump, and you’ll see a real landslide of all shapes, colors, gender self selections and politics.
It seems as though most of the readers in the comments section get the big picture. Of course it could be a bunch of our people trolling that site. That said, I think more than a few rank and file Democrats know they’re in bigger trouble than their party leaders and the lapdog media would care to admit.
