Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has never had much to say about Donald Trump. But lately, he has fallen completely silent.
On the few occasions when the Republican leader has appeared publicly in his home state of Kentucky this month, he’s either avoided answering reporters’ questions, or explicitly refused to address the topic he acknowledged was on everyone’s mind: His party’s presidential nominee.
At a local Chamber of Commerce event in Danville, McConnell twice instructed the crowd not to ask him about the presidential race “even though that’s what I know you all wanted me to talk about.”

Again, I publicly apologize for voting for this wimpy RINO. Grimes would have been better. At least you know where she stands.
At least he’s silent. He and his ilk -republicans in Congress- seem to be completely silent about every hoerible thing Obama and Hillary have done to this nation and suddenly wake up to criticize Trump about some 15 year old comment.
And he should not be exempt from obamacare.
Yeah, I voted for Carter after the GOPe shafted Reagan in 75, huge mistake rectified four years later. Hope the Berners can see a protest vote for Trump would be more than a protest vote, in this instance their crossover vote may save the Republic.

I couldn't agree more. HRC was +11 in a weekend ABC poll and this AM she's +5 in a CNN deal. So, is she collapsing or are the polls BS? I say both.
Mitch McConnell is a puppet and a coward.
His job will be tough if Trump wins. He may be forced to pay attention to the people rather than the donors - the same donors that Hillary has so his job will be easy if Hillary wins.
And, if there is a D president he can blame everything on her. If there’s an R president he won’t have an excuse when voters ask why he didn’t get anything done.
Gobbler is just keeping a low profile to make switching parties after the election much easier, one can only hope.
This does bring up an interesting point, if the senate is lost that is no surprise as they acted much like dems anyway just like the last time they lost, therefore Trump has no coattails as the MSM would say.
If the republicans retain the senate Trump does have coattails even though the MSM will never admit it.
Mitch is no leader. He’s a dud.

They both want what Hillary Wants. Open Borders and Complete free trade. We lose our jobs, get flooded with foreign invaders who demand free stuff and they get their pockets filled with Cash from Businesses who now can hire workers for 2 dollars a day.
