Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has never had much to say about Donald Trump. But lately, he has fallen completely silent.
On the few occasions when the Republican leader has appeared publicly in his home state of Kentucky this month, hes either avoided answering reporters questions, or explicitly refused to address the topic he acknowledged was on everyones mind: His partys presidential nominee.
At a local Chamber of Commerce event in Danville, McConnell twice instructed the crowd not to ask him about the presidential race even though thats what I know you all wanted me to talk about.

Some leader
in the sense that Benedict Arnold was a leader. Win or lose, he needs to be demoted.

My family and I have gone silent for Pat Toomey.

It’s not important to him. Nothing will change for any of them. They will still have their cushy jobs and pensions. They will still get to enrich themselves off of our backs.

Yesterday I heard a sound byte from my state's junior senator that could have been a verbatim excerpt of Cruz's speech at the convention. "Vote for values", etc.
I'll never vote for him again and in fact I would consider voting for a Democrat against him.
Our senior senator, OTOH, has at least had good enough sense to keep his mouth shut and not insult us that way.
So yeah, McConnell is still a whore and so are the GOPe's.

Me, too. Toomey said he is "distancing himself" from Trump so we are distancing ourselves from him.
Also, I am skipping all posts on here from CBS, NBC, ABC, Politico, and all other articles written by the MSM. Nothing but lies...
