In what is no doubt a brilliant tactical step, the Donald goes for broke and holds out for the participation of Johnson
The Donald Trump for President 2016 campaign will pull out of the scheduled September 26th debate between Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Trump, unless third-party candidates Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are also allowed to participate.

Still, I wouldn’t want to see a situation arise in which The Powers That Be get to say, “Fine. No debate. I’m sure Hillary won’t mind if we just cancel them.”

I thought Trump already stated that he will participate in the debates.
Before the hyperventilating wing of FR arrives, please note that Johnson has adopted some of the most statist positions around. He is, in effect, what Ralph Nader was in 2000 Trump is far more libertarian than he is.

He has unequivocally stated that he would be at the debate barring an act ofGod or natural disaster. This is pure bs.
Many people do NOT accept this little local weekly newspaper as a reliable source, at least on national political matters.
I think the story is possibly true, but I doubt it until we see some validation. I also would advise Mr. Trump to refuse to debate unless its one-on-one vs Hilliary. Having little unknown “alternative candidates” in there will only lessen the amount of time Hilliary has to talk. The more Hilliary gets exposed to the American public, the less votes she gets. It is in Trump’s benefit, imho, for him to arrange as much exposure, time for Hilliary as possible.
And once again, they will be responding...to him. And all the nutballs will know that their guy who cant win, was only included because Trump demanded it. That looks very fair... now Hillary either has to agree to it, or she is diminished.
And this tells me Trump is 100% sure those two draw from her, not him.
This is a legitimate publication to the best of my knowledge.

Seems a little crazy but maybe he’s leading anyway. Honestly I don’t want to see Johnson there.
Here’s what’s needed: A no-break, two-hour, face-to-face, one-pint-of-water-each, no-holds-barred debate between Trump and Hellary with an honest (that means conservative) moderator.
