We used to have supporters for McCain and Mitt saying we had to support the republican candidate if we liked them or not. We had to try to keep obama from getting elected.
So many of them are now #NeverTrumpHypocrites.
The sole purpose of a “delegate” is to vote the way their constituents voted. PERIOD...
Just leave Cruz alone; Trump is trying to sow peace. He offered him a speaking slot at the convention. Many of the comments on FR have been foolish lately; Trump was behind Clinton last set of polls by 5 or so points. Granted the last week may tighten the race considerably; even so we need Trump to win 90+ % of the normal GOP voters, we need the Cruz voters; we need the Ryan voters; we even need the McCain voters. We cannot afford Clinton. Pray, pray, pray. Persuade, persuade, persuade. Sow peace and pursue it. May God be merciful to us and allow Trump to be our President, and may he be a wise President.
He wouldn’t dare
Ted can't apparently be a man of his word. I say this, and I and my family gave Ted many hundreds of dollars shortly after he announced.
Trump has plenty of issues, but he is the pick. It was up to Ted to stay true to his word. Instead, he sides with the GOPe Jeb Bush, Lindsay Graham, and Carly Fiorina contenders in not keeping their word.
So, yes, Ted Cruz should now be lumped in with the others doing exactly the same thing for exactly the same reason.
Ted, give us our dang money back, you liar!
They haven’t realized that’s it’s over for their type of candidate.
Remember you heard it here first. Cruz is going to endorse Trump in a full throated speech at the convention and call for party unity, bank on it. I can’t believe people here don’t understand the concept of building anticipation through speculation. The murmuring is what is going to bring eyeballs to the convention. Salesmanship 101.
I say give the GOPE their worst nightmare:
A Trump Victory and an epic down ballot defeat.
the same thing as all members of the stupid party...
1) what can i do to be more popular with democRATS?
2) what can i do to get invited on the late night talk shows?
3) what can i do to get invited to the right Georgetown cocktail parties?
4) what can i do to get invited on the sunday morning talk shows?
Don Trump is not yet the Republican nominee, is he?
Bill Kristol just can't give up, still looking for a clown to run as an INDEPENDENT at the General Election...and now it is JOHN MC CAIN RUMOR...
COME ON PEOPLE...SEND THE GUYS WITH THE WHITE JACKET FOR Bill KRISTOL. His family needs to get the guy, serious mental help.
We seriously need Donald J. Trump, a business man and not a Professional Politician.. Donald J.Trump has gone through the Primary Procedure and paid his own way, he is not bought and sold..and the GOP is having difficulty with that...WE THE AMERICAN TAX PAYING VOTER IS HAVING NO PROBLEM WITH IT...WAKE UP GOP/RNC..
I was an early Cruz supporter, but he lost me when he blamed the Chicago riot on Trump, and then refused to endorse Trump once he became the presumptive nominee.
A few days ago I got a call for the Cruz for Senate organization looking for a donation.
I told the caller I wouldn't be donating to Cruz because he hadn't endorsed Trump inspite of his pledge to support the Republican nominee.
The caller told me that Trump wouldn't be the official Republican nominee until July 18. We spoke further, but in the end I came away with the understanding that Cruz will endorse Trump after the official vote.
I told him to call me back after that happens.
Trump gave Ted a speaking spot at the convention . Maybe they will both surprise you .
If the delegates were selected by primary, paid for with state tax money, then the delegates who do not wish to follow the law should either (1) resign their seats or (2) reimburse the taxpayers.
IS THAT A ‘BRIBE’ THAT BILLY KRISTOL IS THROWING OUT THERE? just wondering.
The only reason he got as many votes as he did in 2008 were the anyone but 0bama voters.
McCain favors tyranny, and opposes the will of the prople who voted in the Republican primary.
LOL! See post 55 .
