Everyone who knows anything about the way organized crime and the Democrats knows that Obama wouldn't appoint Comey to his position in 2012 with leverage.
What does Obama have on James Comey?
It’s called “loyalty”.
Why does he have to “have something”? Why can’t Comey just be a scumbag? He’s a “Republican” who accepted a job from Obama after all, so he must be a scumbag.
Comey being a Republican is precisely why Obama nominated him. Can’t blame partisan politics, plus can’t blame when the lever needs to be turned.
Maybe there’s something in the vanity posted about 90 minutes ago (and still on the front page) asking the same question?
He knew, based on Comey’s treatment of Scooter Libby, that he was a RINO at heart.
It may turn out to be the best move possible. If he had recommended indictments, they would have just ignored them. It gives Trump fodder for the general election run up. When Trump becomes President he can revisit the case, and he will.

Obama and the democrats, all sold Comey on the fear factor. The fear factor being that, if he recommended bringing charges to Hillary, that Hillary’s campaign would be forced to end, and if that happened, that Comey would be accused of bringing down the democrats’ presidential candidate, and would furthermore be accused of deciding the election by leaving the door wide open for an easy victory by Trump against whoever replaced Hillary as the candidate.
Being forever known as the person who brought down Hillary and the democrats’ only hope to win the presidency, and the democrats were not going to let Comey get away with it.

Then there are the NM allegations about corrupt cops being used as paid-perjurers and bagmen by corrupt FBI agents, with full knowledge at the agency level.
Point is, it’s obvious that Comey is “owned” by Obama/Clinton. They could have had him recite from the Koran or Mein Kampf, and he would have.

I have long been suspicious of Director Comey; as he was an Obamatollah appointee, but I’d like to believe he still is an honorable patriot...
Could it be possible that he outsmarted/outplayed The Bitch?
Interesting times in the U.S.A. ~ Director Comey may have an ‘ace up his sleeve’ ~ and hopefully President Trump may be the one to put those criminals behind bars...

comey has selective integrity. The Rule of Law has once again been bashed by a degenerate whose integrity is malignant...at best. The compromised comey should resign immediately. He does not merit his position.
I think when the FBI discovered that Obama was included on the SAP messages email chain along with possibly other high ranking administration officials that it was decided to bury the investigation.
Can you imagine the damage that this would have caused? (I know Freepers can) Bring down the president, and possibly future president, probably the SECDEF, and the directors of the CIA and NSA.
As I reflected on Comey’s comments on Tuesday, it struck me that he may be more clever than we thought. His first 15+ minutes are loaded with 30 second sound bites Trump is already making into TV spots. Comey very politely called her everything but a child of God and now it’s ALL OUT THERE from the head of the FBI!
Then by NOT referring it, he has all but the most dedicated Clinton loyalists and brain-dead Democrats (but I again repeat myself) so FURIOUS at the failure to follow through that I believe the election may be an anticlimax — unless Trump steps on his ______________
(insert the name of your favorite body part here) or they STEAL another one.
So, if he DID get “The Word” from obozo to keep Clinton in the race (and my guess is that he did), his presentation was constructed to do as much damage to her while following obama’s order to NOT refer for prosecution, leaving him out of the doghouse. Perhaps some sort of spiteful twofer? We may never know!
I’m not so sure that people are correctly reading what happened yesterday.
First, he spent most of the speech confirming that the FBI believes that she lied her (very fat) ass off throughout this entire episode. Second, he indicated that she DID break the law.
What deciding not to recommend an indictment did is:
1) It made sure that she’d be the Dem nominee;
2) It made sure that she won’t be going to jail (not yet);
3) It brought this entire series of sordid episodes into the public eye - most people are asleep and didn’t even know that she was being investigated.
4) It gave Trump lots of material for commercials.
Her being the Dem nominee is, of course, important to her. However, she is a terrible candidate. Having her be the nominee, doubling down on Obama policies, with this cloud of ethics and competence hanging over her...that doesn’t bode well for ANY candidate, let alone one running as THE establishment candidate in an anti-establishment year.
Remember, this is DC and this is politics - take NOTHING at face value.
