Hillary Clintons speech Tuesday reveling in her historic title as the first woman to clinch a major political partys presidential nomination drew praise from an unlikely source Wednesday: a Republican who has endorsed Donald Trump.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich described the reality stars toned down, teleprompter speech Tuesday as very fine but cast Clintons remarks as a spectacular speech that was very effective.
Let me first say that I thought Hillary Clintons speech last night was very effective, Gingrich said Wednesday via Facebook live. No conservative, no Republican should assume that shes gonna be a pushover.
After apologizing for his hair its not quite right, he said, but will be cut Thursday Gingrich suggested that Clinton will be a formidable challenger to Trump....

I think recordings of Shrillary’s voice should be used in prisoner interrogations in the war on terror..... it would be “like” torture but the libs could hardly dare call it torture, could they?
Personally, I would say or do just about anything to get free of that shrieking snarling voice like fingernails on a chalkboard.
You may not hate her, but she assuredly hates you ... or at least what you stand for. She certainly intends to destroy you.
Her Presidency will just continue the downward spiral of a once great nation.
0bama greatly accelerated the decline of the Great Republic. Hildebeeste intends to further accelerate its decline.
Please, Newt. GO AWAY. I am sure Callista is “worth it.” PLEASE!!!
I don’t know either why Newt keeps talking about Hillary “winning on words” even though he is pushing “gifted amateur” Trump on policy. Maybe there really was a bad spot in their relationship or he just enjoys listening to someone more eloquent than Donald.
Maybe Newt will be Hillary’s VP .
For a lot of these idiots, politics is just fun and games. Praising Hildebeeste’s speech is like saying the opposing quarterback threw a good pass. It means nothing to them. Most of the professional chatterers, which Newt is, are like that. Too many congressthings take that attitude as well.
Gingrich would rather be liked than be loved.
Maybe he’ll sit on a couch with Nancy Pelosi and endorse her.
Giving aid and comfort to the enemy.
A. NO speech from Hillary can be “spectacular” because she can only present it in that screechy, dead voice of hers which would make a zombie cringe in horror.
B. STFU Newt, and crawl back under whatever rock you came from. If you can’t help our side, at least don’t try and help the other one.
“Im sure if i got into the weeds I would probably end up not liking her at all (Which is why I dont want to get into the weeds).”
Maybe you need to get into the weeds ... and pretty quickly. It amazes me to hear that you don’t understand what corrupt and vile people her and her husband are. Do some homework!
Exactly.
But a soufflé can't rise twice.
I know she hates everything I stand for but I’m not sure I can name 5 politicians who don’t. I suspect if I were running for President I would get the Trump treatment (probably much worst) by all of the politicians. I don’t put any of them, the party doesn’t matter, on a pedestal
Part of what I hate about politics. They obviously are people who can get along but to hear Hillary talk Trump is the devil incarnate.
I don't just want to do away with the other guy's 'social program'. I want to do away with your 'social program', too.
Those words were my own first reaction.
A fan of Newt’s in the past, that just about ends it for me.
Maybe he wants a picture taken with her on a love seat, too.
Funny how no Democratic politician can find anything positive to say about Trump. They won’t even bring themselves to say he built a successful company. Sick people really.
From Hillary's perspective, Trump is Lucifer in the flesh. From John Boehner's perspective, Cruz is Lucifer in the flesh. Tells us something about Hillary's and Boehner's perspectives.
From my perspective, Hillary is demonic.
From Newt's perspective, it's all fun and games; an entertaining sideshow. I don't think it really means anything to him.
I'm starting to recall why I'm not especially fond of Newt Gingrich.
