CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) Donald Trump's presidential campaign has all but thrown in the towel in Wyoming ahead of Saturday's Republican convention.
The billionaire businessman's campaign made a conscious decision not to commit resources to Wyoming, according to Alan Cobb, a senior Trump adviser.
Trump picked only up a single delegate in last month's Wyoming county conventions while Cruz scored nine. There are 14 more delegates at stake at this weekend's state convention. In a telephone interview with The Associated Press from the convention site in Casper, Wyoming, Cobb said Friday that he expects Trump's rival Ted Cruz to sweep what remains of the 29 delegates up for grabs in the Wyoming convention....

Nah, mailman’s son gets second in PA
Trump wins on the first ballot and Cruz does home.
I do know the number generally enough to think that Trump will get 1237. Lots of factors in play, but the picture is going to look different by the time California primary is conducted. Plus, by that time, the press will be openly talking about the "unbound" delegates, rather than talking about the "second ballot" delegates. The press is trying to establish a narrative of momentum (to Cruz) and weakness (to Trump).
Cruz represents too much of the Bush establishment. Trump will want nothing to do with him. He’s tainted.
LOL, love it.
Of all the pro-Trump people on this site, there are none that I get a sense are here because the campaign has hired them to be influencers on social media, or disruptors if that doesn’t work. There are none that are as prolific or as annoying as 2ndDivisionVet, and now that he has admitted that he is a bundler for the Cruz campaign, there should be disclaimers on all of his whacky posts.
Well said. Except I would have at least paid a visit and sent some credible reps to fly my flag there — cost very small ( especially to a multi- billionaire) -—— but it’s not my decision to take ( you got it, DT actually failed to ask my advice, as incredible as that sounds!)
That would push Trump into Kasich’s camp
Trump/Kasich is much more GOPe like.
Kasich wants men to go in women’s bathrooms.
Really think we need to limit Kasich’s role
Bundler for Cruz huh? Good to know.
Why does he KEEP doing this. Then of course he will say it is rigged. One would think he could have easily had his 1237 if he had actually gone to each state but he seems to have sent his surrogates or no one to quite a few. Does anyone have that info—in which states did Donald Trump actually campaign? it would be interesting to line them up against the final results and see if it had an impact.
Yes there is more than enough mental illness to go around this election. But I don’t believe that the RNC is crazy enough to block Trump. They know it will result in mutually assured destruction maybe even all-out pandemonium.
Cruzers cling to to those little micro wins like its going to make a difference. Its not. Cruz is done. His poll numbers are dropping. He’s going to get schlonged in 5-7 primaries in a row. Soon Ted will need to start plotting his exit strategy.
If you’re not a volunteer for your candidate, why not? Do you even know what a bundler is?
Good to hear you are active in supporting one of our candidates.

Here is the detailed analysis that has Trump on 1155 delegates.
Given Kasich is very socially liberal, our best option is still Trump/Cruz or Trump/Cruz- shotgun wedding edition.
Micro winner Cruz is a nibbler going around the edges nibbling for delegates here and there. Cruzers then sing his mini-me victories with verbose hype fooling themselves.
Cruz ten days ago said, that Kasich being “mathematically eliminated” at this point which has been awhile for Kasich who should get out of the race since has “no path to winning” the nomination.
Will Cruz take his own advice? Will Cruz get out when he is mathematically eliminated? Not according to these Cruzies we see singing here he won’t.
*752 + 95 (New York) = 847
847 + 100 (Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware, Pa., RI) = 947
*947 + 10 (Indiana) = 957
**957 + 36 (Nebraska) = 993
*993 + 34 (West Virginia) = 1027
**1027 + 10 (Oregon) = 1037
**1037 + 13 (Washington) = 1050
*1050 + 100 (California) = 1150
1150 + 51 (New Jersey) = 1201
1201 + 10 (New Mexico) = 1211
**1211 + 29 (South Dakota) = 1240
Compare with the 538 analysis, especially the starred states.
Hopefully, Trump and Cruz will get together before Kasich wins this on the fourteenth ballot.
;)
Liberal Silver has been wrong about Trump all year long, and only changes his tune when reality is close and it’s on the eve of another state primary election.
Cruz will soon be under a lot of pressure to get out. Trump is making nice with the party behind the scenes.
