Overflow crowds in Peoria greeted 2016 presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on his third of five Monday rallies in Illinois the day before Tuesday's pivotal primary elections.
Cruz commented that republican frontrunner Donald Trump "may be the one person on the face of the planet Hillary Clinton can beat in a general election" according to political reporter Rosie Gray.
Cruz mentioned Cook County politics, garnering boos from the crowd in reference to Chicago, Illinois. He slammed Trump over donations to politicians such as the disgraced and imprisoned Rod Blagojevich, the Cook County Democratic Party, and Rahm Emmanuel....

We definitely have a problem on FR when negative comments overwhelm an opponent to the point where people don't enjoy posting pep-talk kind of stuff like this post. Perhaps an FR poster should be entitled to post certain article strictly for positive reply by supporters of their candidate. What do you think? Maybe some Carson and Rubio supporter were scared off by hostile comments long ago. I'm not saying cut off debate, by any means, but allow some private space for each candidate. Seriously, what's the best policy for FR so one candidate's voice don't drown out other voices? It's an issue an open forum like this must confront. |
I’m at the Cruz event in Springfield, IL, and at an hour before start time, WE ARE PACKED!! Standing room only! They are already having trouble with parking, venue is iWorship Center, big church ...
Peace,
SR
Now please allow me to vent like you did. Theodore Cruz sat there with you and me and watched rioting communists in Chicago shutting down free speech and Theodore granted absolution to the communists and blamed the blameless Donald John Trump!! I heard that— You heard that!!Instead of blaming the communist Soros/ Sanders/ Bill Ayers rioters CRUZ BLAMES TRUMP?? I would never vote for cruz for ANYTHING EVER!!
No, you must be confused. You’re obviously in a phone booth or a Waffle House. /s
Totally totally fair. You caught me being overly civil - in this case, I have to agree with you :-)
Trumps wife’s last job involved posing and eating very little.
Cruz’ wife is successful while fully dressed.
Also, as it has been pointed out, we like to punch brainless idiots in the face, so we have that going for us.
LOL! Tardis maybe? A rowdy group too!
No he didn't.
Yes, I was referring only to this specific thread.</sarc>
From my standpoint, the irresponsible posting occurs with equal frequency and ferocity on both sides.
Now, given the fact that the FR caucus is going better than 4-to-1 Trump over Cruz, it's pretty amazing that there's an equal amount of vicious attacks coming from the Cruz side, if not more...
Yeah, but Indiana is Larry Byrd country... not a fair comparison :- )
If some of the Cruznadians we have around here are any indication, they probably were too butt hurt to sit down.

I’m Sorry. The stakes here are very high. We both love our country because we have children and grandchildren and we have put their futures in dire jeopardy by allowing our country to been degraded to third world crap. We fight now to make this country great again or we fail but we ,by GOD, fight.
Look at his born-on date.
Are admitting you have worked for Cruz in the past and have not made that clear every time you posted his propaganda? Or you saying you worked for President Bush which, when you think about it, is just the same nowadays.
He absolutely DID BLAME TRUMP!! There is no question.
It’s okay when they do it. They’re on a mission from God.
Can you read English?
I have no sympathy for Cruz after he blames Trump for Sanders supporters disrupting Trumps events.. complete scumbag move..
