Trump's Morning Joe town hall to compete directly with Cruz, Rubio on CNN
The Hill ^ | February 16, 2016, 01:25 pm | Harper Neidig

The event will take place at the same time as a CNN town hall featuring fellow GOP presidential candidates Ben Carson, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz. CNN announced its event Saturday.

Scarborough had harsh words for CNN last week, after the network reported that the "Morning Joe" hosts were giving favorable treatment to Trump, and that MSNBC officials were concerned about the trend.

MSNBC also responded by issuing a statement that denied some of the accusations put forth by CNN, including that Brzezinski and Scarborough celebrated the New Hampshire primary results with Trump in his hotel room.

It should be noted that Morning Joe is off to a great start in this election year, the statement added. In January, the show had 28% more viewers than CNN's morning show last month. And thus far in February, more people are watching Morning Joe than CNN.

Low expectations are good. Doesn’t take much to get you pumped. Good thinking.

RE: I like Morning Joe.

I believe that statement alone tells you why FR is no longer a pre-eminent conservative forum.

You guys have no clue why Trump is Triumphing.

He has the BIGGEST VOTING block on planet...

The 94 Million American Adults without a job.
And 25-30 million more who are forced to work part time.
And another 10 million or so who are working in jobs
below their skill levels.

These people understand Trump is the last hope.
Only Trump will deport illegals taking their jobs.
And build a wall, to stop drugs and bad illegals.
And stop the $505,000,000,000 bleeding every year to China.
And deport UN-vetted Muslim terrorists allowed by Obummer.

I can go on. But get a clue. These issues are so serious,
those people could not care less if Trump is a sanctimonious liberal or conservative. They understand that Trump gets things done ahead of schedule and under budget.

Last but not least, ask yourself what have the conservative Career Politicians achieved lately?

Abortions reduced?
Welfare reduced?
Obamacare defunded?

All talk and no accomplishments.

Nice try. You wouldn’t know competition if it bit you.

Conservatives a pansies. They are all intellect and do not do anything. conservatives are total failures and have failed the country badly.

Conservatives do not have a chance against Trump. they are all talk and no action.

Been growing up on it for the past dozen years, I am just remarking on the fact that the biggest argument for Trump is that he is destined to win, and he certainly acts like he is afraid to let the other candidates get their message out because they might beat him. Which would go against the aura of invincibility he wears.

All I can think about is Boris from Goldeneye, where he throws his arms up and yell “I am Invincible” and we all know what happened to him lol.

In politics, the “sure thing” ends up needing to work two, sometimes three times harder for the win, if they even make it. Think Romney was a sure thing by election day. He lost, in part by the faction of the GOP that had already wised up and either stayed home or voted 3rd party, but also because of his own, albeit less committed, supporters. These are the people who were largely undecided, probably right up to election day. Some may have even leaned towards voting for him. They are the same ones who, upon realizing that Romney was indeed a “sure thing”, chose to stay home.

Trump may be the “sure thing” right now, which only means he will need to work even harder to make sure he gets those votes. I’m confident he will.

Now I already know who I am voting for, which will be march first by the way. However how many people in SC haven’t decided, or have just been living under a rock and came out today. lol

A Cuban cage match - maybe they’ll cruse each other in Spanish. They are like a couple of little chihuahuas nipping at each other’s heels.
