WOW almost all republican senators so far have endorsed Rubio. Must be popular in senate. Scott, Toomey, Ernst among others. When will Cruz get at least one senator to endorse him? Sessions? Mike Lee? Somebody? Come on senators, Ted Cruz is so nice!

Looks like the GOPe is moving to “tag” its current favorite big-time. I expect further Rubiogasms from the GOPe.

at this point I like Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. I could not vote for Marco Rubio based on his immigration stance.

Why would he want the endorsement from a fascist that wants to take away your 2nd Amendment Rights.

I don't know about you, but I'm not impressed by a bunch of cheats who lie to get elected then turn their backs on us, living off our money and stealing more for themselves by making cozy with the lobbyists, who make laws for me and you that they themselves don't obey, endorsing one of their own sell-outs!

I must be mistaken but that's what I thought people here on FR wanted to get rid of!

You're being given the shaft and you don't even realize it!

This Trump campaign is better that having Madame Defarge knitting the names of everyone to be killed in the French revolution! By the end of this, all the GOPee will be outed!

You could argue he endorsed himself, yet your point remains.

The feud between Trump and Cruz is taking both of them down. Rubio is standing on the sidelines just watching his opponents destroy each other.

At this point I think this is Rubio’s election to lose. If he keeps his nose clean and doesn’t get involved in petty attacks and cheap shots, I think he will cruise to the nomination.

He’s picking up very important endorsements right now.

I don’t think he is nearly as qualified as some of the other candidates and I think overall he is a bit of a squish, but he is 1000 times better than Hillary or Sanders.

Either Cruz and Trump STHU or Rubio wins by default.

The only endorsements that matter are those of the voters. Each senator gets only one vote, just like the rest of us.

It’s beginning to look like this so-called “revolt of the angry conservative base” is evaporating and will soon be gone.

The Ruling Class is the Ruling Class for a reason.

It wont make a difference.

Allen West was bigger than Tim Scott in 2011/2012 and his endorsement didn’t save the guy who got beaten by the large animal vet.

Some of these incumbent congress members had every single reputed conservative: Bachmann, Allen West & others endorsing them and they got thrown for a new choice.

I thought Trey Gomez(R-SC) and his 1/2 million twitter/facebook followers was going to help Rubio win Iowa.

Tonight on the Levin Show, Levin said that Rubio could talk the blank off the female FOX reporters. I think he meant pants for blank, and he did not mean it as a compliment. However, in a back handed way, it is a compliment. If you are in the business of winning elections, it is skill well worth having. Let's be honest, since elections have been shown on TV, likeability has been high on the list for winning candidates. I personally like Cruz on the issues, but I'm not in the business of self delusion and can admit the obvious. His personality stinks in comparison to the rest of the GOP field. Luckily, as bad as it is, it is still better than Herself’s. I think the last candidate to win while losing the personality battle was in 1972.

“WOW almost all republican senators so far have endorsed Rubio. Must be popular in senate. Scott, Toomey, Ernst among others.”

My theory is that the establishment has finally become resigned to the fact that their favorite, Jeb, is out. So they look at the remaining viable ones (Cruz, Trump, Rubio) for a replacement. Given past history, of the three, Rubio is by far the most easy to co-opt and corrupt (as he has already proven), hence their endorsements.

A Toomey endorsement is a negative, Cruz doesn’t need It.

“Why might a Republican from a purple state, whose seat is up this year by the way, prefer Rubio to Cruz or Trump?”

A senate “bro” and shared religion.
