So who is Jon Keyser? Heâs a 34-year-old, first-term member of the Colorado House of Representatives who will resign from his local lawmaker seat so he can devote his full attention to a run at the big show. Whatâs he bring to a race that includes state Sen. Tim Neville, wealthy Colorado Springs businessman Robert Blaha, and former Aurora City Councilman Ryan Frazier, among several others?
Youth, an apparent coating of fairy dust from the national GOP establishment, and, oh, a biographical data point that includes killing terrorists as part of special ops missions for the U.S. military.

There are a lot of good people running, but they have very little name I.D. or capacity to increase it. Jon Keyser has star quality and a flair for gaining free ink. I think he could win in November.
He’s get my vote.
Great choice on your part. Perhaps you can put a sign in your front yard later this year.
You know nothing about why I said what I did, or who I am. Whether or not it is a great choice is immaterial. It is MY choice. If I want a sign, I'll get one.
Never saw someone react hostilely before to a fellow freeper saying they approved on an endorsement they made. Having a bad day?
Bennett is so weak, a first tierer would have taken him out for sure. I hope one of these second tierers can.
If I want a sign, I’ll get one.
star quality and getting ink are not reasons to vote for someone.
Someone who has similar political beliefs and shares your values is a good reason to vote for someone.
Some Senate news.
In Indiana the most “establismenty” candidate, Eric Holcomb, has quit the Senate race reportedly to be Pence’s LT Governor running mate.
In California, the Republicans most prominent candidate, State Assemblyman Rocky Chavez, quit the race and filed to run for reelection (other Republicans are already running for his seat). He was totally out of money.

He alleges the state GOP is ignoring the Senate race.
At least this reduces the vote split, but the other 2 main candidates are just a couple former State party chairs, one conservative and one RINO.
With Carly Fiorina dropping out for President and Rocky Chavez dropping out for Senate, perhaps there will be a movement to recruit Fiorina for another Senate run. She may be the GOP’s only chance there.
Good thinking.
Filing deadline is March 11th.
