who is he? Your next president.
Well, we know more about him than our current resident in the peoples house.
A MEDIA-MASTER and NEXT PRESIDENT of the U.S.
I went from being excited about Trump to having no respect for him in a period of just over a week. I suspect that others feel the same way.
Am very disappointed in the Freepers that are saying Cruz bashed the memory of 911 etc, they prove they have no value as far as I am concerned, I would not welcome any of you in my home, you would not be welcome.
Same goes for people here feigning outrage over the term NY Values... I am ashamed of you absolutely
His “Conservative” supporters like his outrageous anger because they are angry.
And while they are very absorbed with the law regarding Cruz; birth
which will not give them what they want, BTW
They ignore that their candidate openly admits to bribing public
offices for greed and avarice.
“Well he had to” one told me. No, he didn’t. He could have been
honest and honorable and less wealthy. He did it because he was greedy.
He learned it from his father who was openly hated by Pres. Eisenhower because he manipulated the
system and took money from Federal Housing Projects, including for Vets. In his Congressional testimony he was
as outrageous as the son.
If Trump becomes President don’t expect him to function as a conservative. Candidate and President will likely be 2 different people.
I’d be disappointed to find out that Byron York is GOPe...
That said:
I see Trump as a man with (sometimes) mixed messages due to his history.
He is a liberal saying anything in order to win. That has been his life work, winning no matter what it takes to get there - truth or lies, it does not matter as long as he wins. He may become president. I do not vote for liberals.
Who is Donald Trump, Really? The guy Cruz will destroy on a 1 on 1 debate.
Trump is whatever his fans want him to be in any given week.
If you have read all of Trump’s books, you get a really good idea about who he is and why he is particularly good for the country at this time. It’s like his favorite book, the Bible: you only really understand what it is telling you if you read all of it several times. You notice that some things are covered over and over again. These are the important parts.
People who try to generalize from one or two Bible verses are as successful as people who try to generalize what Donald Trump thinks from one or two quotes.
Golly gee willikers, what a novel concept! Actually how negotiations have been done since cave man days, but must be a revelation to Mr. York.
Looks like we will never get this thing fixed that uglies up some posts. Bookmark

As American Enterprise Institute Marc Thiessen noted, a portion of Trumpââ¬â¢s plan on immigration is actually an idea that came from Texas Moderate Senator Kay Baily Hutchison, who proposed Trump’s ââ¬Åtouchbackââ¬Â in which you deport millions of immigrants to let them back in. You can decide whether this is a practical plan, but make no mistake, under Trumpââ¬â¢s reform, the vast majority of illegal today will still be here his reforms.
The author and assumingly the poster are believe this because all politicians lie and how can Trump be any different. None of this matters because so far Trump is the best we have. No matter your position on illegal immigrants there will have to be some hard case exceptions to permanent deportation. Hopefully, Trump will want a win/win policy on such exceptions.
Well you will get to find out soon because barring an alien abduction Trump is likely the next President of the USA
Sorry any analysis by yobs from NRO can be disregarded for the self serving crap they are.
Lots of folks pointed out Reagans flaws and flip flops in 1980. Glad I ignored them
Trump is not exactly conservative either
Neither is America.
And by that I don't mean that America has gone liberal or progressive, but rather that the largest plurality of Americans are what might be called old-fashioned-Democrat-lite.
Let's admit it: here is where much of America stands on the important issues, in no particular order...
Welfare: should be available, but only for people who really need it.
Jihad: get rid of the "bad" Muslims, keep the "good" Muslims.
Homosexual issues: who cares what you do in your bedroom, and if you want to get married who cares, just don't make religious people have to support it.
Military: keep it big enough to defend ourselves, stop fighting stupid wars that we don't want to win. [1/15: I would add "bomb the crap out of anyone who makes us look bad."]
Abortion: it should only be available for rape, incest, saving the life of the mother, and when I think I need one, but we shouldn't be able tell a woman what she can't do with her own body.
The debt: stop foreign aid.
Corporations: stop using "slave labor" in third world countries, put Americans back to work--doesn't matter at what, just put 'em back to work.
Immigration: get rid of the "bad" non-citizens, keep the "good" ones.
Anyone see a pattern here? This is essentially what Trump stands for, or at least what is the perception of what Trump stands for. He is by no means a conservative, but "conservative" is an ideology, and Americans in general do not like ideologies. And that is why he is a popular demagogue, in the non-pejorative sense of the term.
.
Trump is an establishment Democrat.
Some of us have seen this from the beginning. But others would rather attack an excellent constitutional conservative candidate because of misguided theories about his birth.
