ccording to the transcript of Donald Trump's interview with Scott Pelley on 60 Minutes, Mr. Trump favors a single payer health care plan in certain situations. During the interview, Pelley asked Mr. Trump what his plan was to replace Obamacare would look like. Mr. Trump responded, saying "I am going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now." When Pelley pressed Mr. Trump further about who would pay for this coverage, Mr. Trump said "the government’s gonna pay for it."

Also, they refuse to actually see reality; not to mention the fact that they have to lie and distort facts, to boost their candidate.

Well there was a problem before, and nobody fixed it.

Nobody.

For years, nobody fixed it.

Nobody at all.

And you are all for it and further expanding it to everyone. Obama and Sanders and Hillary’s dream.

Am I mis-stating your position?

They just don't care.

All they want to do is have one flame war after another. I don't really understand it, but it's true; sadly.

Notice you rush right in to misrepresent me, because you realize that Trump nowhere talks about "expanding it to everyone", contrary to your claim that he supports "Universal Government Funded Healthcare."

Am I mis-stating your position?

Yes, you know it too.

Giving the Fed's total control is NOT a fix...

It will be a disaster....

I see it coming.......

Then you don’t support expanding Medicare to everyone. Good. I thought your post was supporting Trump or excusing him in the interview.

>>>you realize that Trump nowhere talks about “expanding it to everyone”,

He does, in this interview, here:
“Everybody’s got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say..”

He's been all over the place. Here is a report of when he defended Bill Clinton's sexual harassment as unimportant. Now, Trump pretends he was upset by it. The guy is a phony and a flake.

And with Cruz as the nominee ( which hopefully won’t happen in ‘16 ! ), the Dems will win the presidency; yet again.

Ahh...the old GOPe standby against constitutional conservatives since Reagan (and before)...”He can’t win the general election”. Have some FReepers gone insane?

“Everybody’s got to be covered.

And, pray tell, does it say he plans to cover "everyone" with "Universal health care"? Or does he specifically say something entirely different? Be honest.

I believe you are misinterpreting what he meant.

He meant I believe “expand it to everyone who needs coverage”.

Not “expand to everyone”.

That is a not insignificant difference.

Do you think Ronald Reagan ever gave money to the likes of the Clinton Foundation? Did he ever praise the likes of Hillary or act as an apologist for the likes of Bill Clinton? Reagan knew character mattered. Trump things lying to make deals is all that matters.

You’re as wrong as you can be.

85-90% of Americans were at least satisfied with their health care coverage pre-Obamacare. Have you seen any polls on Americans satisfaction with it now? People hate it. I’m in the industry....I know...you don’t.

You would fit in better at DUmmieland.

Trump is more likely to evolve into a Liberal again than to fulfill any of his promises used to dupe conservatives. It’s part of his deal making to lie.

You are wrong.

Big time.

Our healthcare system is a very over-priced racket.

For those who are covered it is fine. But there are way, way, way too many people who are entirely left out.

Our healthcare system needs to be fixed. Now.
