ccording to the transcript of Donald Trump's interview with Scott Pelley on 60 Minutes, Mr. Trump favors a single payer health care plan in certain situations. During the interview, Pelley asked Mr. Trump what his plan was to replace Obamacare would look like. Mr. Trump responded, saying "I am going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now." When Pelley pressed Mr. Trump further about who would pay for this coverage, Mr. Trump said "the government’s gonna pay for it."

As soon as you accept that Healthcare is a collective problem, then theres nothing left to do but slap the manacles on your neighbors.

I'd much rather die than to force you or anyone else to pay one cent for my healthcare!

I should have done the next sentence with it:

“Everybody’s got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say..”

And then we need to ignore what Trump’s said about universal, single-payer before.

I guess you got too excited about your little hit piece and didn’t have time to proof read it.

It’s full of gibberish characters and it’s unreadable.

Better luck next time.

Yeah your right, just like the constant BS recycled propaganda that the TRUMP supporters keep posting about Ted Cruz.

You know, more than 3 or 5 or more months “ old news “ about how Ted Cruz is a globalist where he voted to help Obama with the trade deal.

Ted Cruz’s vote on the Irsn deal.

Old news like how his wife worked for a big gloabilist bank.

Yeah, your right, that’s “ old news “.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Still can’t figure out what you mean by “ Cruz-aid drinkers.....

You mean we drink the US Constitution Koolaid ?

Conservative Koolaid ?

You may have hit the mark on that one, in that case we gladly profess that we are Conservative US Constitution Koolaid drinkers by the gallon.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe you are for universal government-mandated healthcare.

Yes, that's true.

They are hysterics and getting worse.

There is NO rational for most of their posts, nor the threads they put up, except to instigate nastiness and worse.

Unless you count: “Everybody's got to be covered.”

Apparently you're so stupid you don't understand that your post does not logically follow. Either that, or you're deliberately lying.

"Everbody's got to be covered" does not logically lead to the conclusion: "... they will be covered by a universal single payer system."

How do you interpret this:

“Everybody’s got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say..”

Why would your interpretation be un-Republican?

The system DID NEED to be fixed. But, deathcare MADE IT WORSE. A few more people get “covered,” but we moved from 85% to maybe 86 or 87%. Millions still not covered! And tens of millions can NO LONGER AFFORD TO USE THEIR INSURANCE!! ONLY AN IDIOT COMMUNIST WHO HATES THIS COUNTRY WOULD THINK THIS WAS IN ANYWAY BETTER!!

Trump pretty clearly was only referring to the guv paying for those who can’t afford it—as is presently done with Medicaid.

Very nice graphic.

Thanks.

There are at least 15% of the population who are out in the cold.

That is what created Obamacare. Because there has always been a large segment of the population who were left out.

It is a collective problem, because our government has restricted who can provide coverage, and regulates everything about healthcare in the entire nation.

I’m for removing government completely.

But until that happens, we need to make sure everyone is covered.

Every single American. If private insurance isn’t covering everyone (and private insurance wasn’t covering anyone, even you cannot deny that) then the government has to step into fill the gap.

They did.

You are angry about that, but the government only fixed it, because nobody had fixed things previously.

Nobody.

Why would your interpretation be un-Republican?

Probably referring to the fanatics who want to defund medicare and medicaid.

“All this is doing, is making the vast majority of Trump; supporters, who had Cruz as their second choice, to decide that they won’t vote for Cruz, EVER, for ANYTHING”

That is not smart. It’s scorched earth, a tactic employed when the battle is lost. Check out post 89.

You also might be interested in reading through this thread, the battle isn’t conservative vs liberal anymore. Fighting the wrong battle is a sure way to lose the war.

FIX healthcare

Psalm 90:10
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

No amount of government debt will change this.
