Well, I Was talking about Cruz. But I will let you know what I think after I watch it later.
my better half is conservative but hates politics. shame.
when she goes to bed, i’m watching it.
but just seeing them sitting there seemed so different!
we became a TV show of a country.

Author and political satirist P.J. O'Rourke stated Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump 'will finally be exposed as a double agent, If he's a double agent, what's that make the Human Tortoise in the senate and the Bearded Clam in congress?

It's almost impossible to comfortably read some articles what with all the hieroglyphics still infecting FR. So I didn't read this one which was particularly bad.
Never a word of explanation or hope, really bugs me.

Never a word of explanation or hope, really bugs me. Here is a good attempt at an explanation:
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/3354891/posts?page=36#36
Jim Robinson has posted that he is aware of the problem, and that John is working on it. However, FR has been having character set problems since at least last October.
As for hope, I hope John hasn't given up.

A pity to learn that PJ O’Rourke is becoming senile.

“and to see the Supreme Court taken over by clones of Sonya Sotomayor, Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Elena Kagan.”
None of whom would be on the Court without the collaboration of the GOPe Senators who voted for them.

Thanks for the reply. I don't understand the tech stuff and I missed that October thread. My gripe is solely that we hear nothing of any progress, or anything of any kind from management. Some information or soothing words from time to time would help from those who don't know the problem (including newbies) and who wonder what the heck is going on with the hieroglyphics stunting so many articles (I just recruited a new member who will sign on after a holiday trip).
We're not babies, and we understand that some bad you-know-what happens from time to time, but just a word or two once in a while from the PTB would be useful and reassuring.

>> The liberals consistently choose âstyleâ over âsubstance.â <<
Agreed completely.
But I think it’s not only the liberals, because a substantial percentage of so-called conservatives are now supporting a TV “reality show” actor — with support that seems mostly based upon the candidate’s well-honed style of firing people on a fictional TV show and upon his actor’s ability to feign outrage when anybody asks him tough questions. I say the guy is about 90% style and maybe about 10% substance.
