Bernie Sanders and Ted Cruz are the first two presidential candidates to be challenged on their eligibility to file in the New Hampshire primary.

Sanders is being challenged on the basis of his longtime affiliation as an independent senator by little-known Republican presidential candidate Andy Martin. Cruz’s candidacy is being questioned by a Pennsylvania man named Carmon Elliott because the Texas senator was born in Canada.

Both appeals will be heard Nov. 24 by the New Hampshire Ballot Law Commission, at which time Martin and Elliott must demonstrate their claims are legitimate.

“Until someone tells me otherwise, we are going to at least take these two matters up,” said commission chairman and Concord attorney Brad Cook....

Uh oh...worst case scenario shaping up.

Cruz gets challenged off state ballots

Trump says babies should be used as heating fuel

Carson claims he's Billy Ocean's doppelganger

Rubio has to take a second job to pay off his credit cards

Jeb falls and breaks his neck while attempting to appear taller

And we end up with Kasich

Ending up with anyone but Cruz or Trump would be a disaster.

I don’t believe these guys have standing to challenge eligibility. I was told the individual states can decide to keep a candidate off the ballot, and then the candidate can take the matter to court.

And why is a PA guy proceeding before a NH entity?

I would write in Ted Cruz's name. People should vote for the candidate they choose, not the one chosen by the GOPe.

New Hampshire lets anyone file ballot challenges. They let Orly Taitz, a Californian, file a challenge to Obama's eligibility. (They heard her challenge and rejected it.)

As a presidential candidate he would have standing.

Oops. Missed that. Thanks.

I'm going to bet NH will keep both candidates on the ballot. Judging from the Obama suits, it doesn't look like the courts are all that interested. And I doubt too many states will want to fight this out in court. Too costly with little prospect of winning.

I just did an internet search. If it is the same man, the Carmon Elliot from Pennsylvania is an activist from Occupy Pittsburgh. In other words a democrat agent.
