He was always top tier with me.
Nice try. Harvard educated Attorney. First term U.S. Senator. Wife who is a Goldman Sachs Wall Street Analyst. Biggest contributors are Trial Lawyers. Most hated Senator on both sides of the aisle in U.S. Senate (Not necessarily a Negative). Zero record of accomplishments. Great talker, but that’s it. Forget Him !
1. Taxes business revenue, not income (sales tax)
a. Will repatriate oversees USD2. Eliminates payroll tax
He is the most qualified and the most conservative so yeah let’s not pick him.
Rush Limbaugh was right on target when he said that some Republicans hate Cruz because he's too conservative for them.
It's why you troll Cruz threads with your hysterical, ineffective ankle-biting.
Cruz is moving up in the polls, slowly but surely, which is exactly in accordance with the long campaign game he plays. Better get used to it; have your drool rag in your pocket.
Bump.
I’m getting tired of the repeated tropes, that Cruz isn’t to be trusted because his wife had at one time worked for Goldman Sachs (as if that by itself is bad, much less the fact it wasn’t TED who worked for them but his wife; guilt by association much?), because he has “zero accomplishments” and is “hated in the Senate”, both of which are arguably UNtrue (depends how one defines “accomplishments” because just limited to the Senate maybe, but that’s pretty understandable even if true because he’s “hated” there and that really ISNT a bad thing), or that his “biggest donors are trial lawyers”. (Haven’t seen one scintilla of evidence for that).
Does he have issues? Sure no ones perfect but he has only just as much (if not LESS) than “The Donald” and quite frankly he’s not as boorish.
I’m chalking all the anti-Cruz trolling to the strange (yet predictable) appearance of never-before seen screen names who pop up around major elections to voice their “concerns”.
And give it that much credit.
“He was always top tier with me.”
Me too. Go Trump/Cruz
Looks like Old Retired Army Guy IS one of the moderate sleazebags Rush was talking about who are terrified of Cruz...note the time-honored use of the word "purist" to describe his supporters:
" There are actually some people who are conservative âpuristsâ that delude themselves into thinking someone like Ted Cruz can be elected to President in 2016. I am old enough to remember when that same kind of passion nominated Barry Goldwater thinking he could defeat Lyndon Johnson and sweep in a consevative wave. We all saw how that went and therefore got âThe Great Societyâ."
” Zero record of accomplishments. Great talker, but thatâs it. Forget Him !”
Put the hat back on your head because you are talking through it. His record as a senator fighting Washington, his record appearing before the Supreme Court, his intellect, debating skills and Conservative principles elevate him.
Go back to the Trump threads where you can blather.
Absolutely!

You are a very wise person. :)
She still works for them...She's on a leave of absense...
or that his âbiggest donors are trial lawyersâ. (Havenât seen one scintilla of evidence for that).
How could you not??? You look the other way when those things are posted on FR???
Does he have issues? Sure no ones perfect but he has only just as much (if not LESS) than âThe Donaldâ and quite frankly heâs not as boorish.
Ahhh...So you're one of those offended by Trumps tone of voice...

You got any thing of substance why Cruz stands out???

Senator Ted Cruz 2016 : ABANDON the Political SUICIDE of Increasing H1B Visas (An Open Letter)
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3355516/posts
.
You mean the Ted Cruz that voted to reauthorize the unconstitutional Patriot Act or the Ted Cruz that voted to give Obama fast track authority to negotiate job killing trade deals or maybe you are thinking of the Ted Cruz that wants a 500% increase in H1B vasas (what does Ted Cruz have against working Americans?) and how about that Amnesty Ted handing out teddy bears and soccer balls to the illegal invaders as they crossed our southern border.
Again, so what?
How could you not [have seen the evidence showing Cruz's biggest donors are trial lawyers]??? You look the other way when those things are posted on FR???
Instead of berating me, thus wasting my time and yours, for missing some post somewhere on FR among the literally thousands that get posted every week, why don't you just post the "evidence"?
Ahhh...So you're one of those offended by Trumps tone of voice...
I'm not offended by his voice as much as sick of how he uses it, kind of like how an adult gets tired of hearing kids swear. Maybe it's "funny" or "cute" the first few times but eventually adults tire of it; and put a stop to it by the way.
You got any thing of substance why Cruz stands out???
Talk about "missing posts on FR"! Are you kidding me? Are you really challenging the notion that Ted Cruz has conservative bona fides?
At this point I could do as you did to me, end this post to you in a combative tone, but I'll actually provide evidence for my claim of Cruz's conservatism. You might want to start here for instance: Accomplishments.
I'll also even say this (as I have before on other threads): I have no problem, ultimately, with the idea of voting for Trump if forced to do so by circumstance. I don't doubt, for example, he's more conservative than Bush, or Christie, and also if it comes down to Carson vs Trump (in my state), then I'm voting for Trump no question! But I don't see a reason to take him as my first choice if Ted Cruz is in the race.
Yeah, that one, who is better than anyone else currently in the race. So pick your poison.
Since I think amnesty will kill the nation I am going with Trump, not Ted. Ted refuses to say that he would enforce existing immigration laws so I am pretty sure Ted favors amnesty and I refuse to vote for any candidate not willing to enforce our laws, protect our nation and it constitution. So that rules out “conservative only when it does not count” Ted.
