Veteran pollster John Zogby is continuing to stick to his longstanding prediction that Republican front-runner Donald Trump's run for president will not last.
"I'm in a margin-of-error business, so plus or minus a couple of weeks … I do think he'll fizzle out, I really do," Zogby, senior analyst at Zogby Analytics, tells "Newsmax Prime" with J.D. Hayworth on Newsmax TV.
"He's starting to, he's peaked a little bit and I think his numbers are coming down … he'll fizzle out shortly."
Zogby said he is not surprised that Trump supporters say if the billionaire developer ends up dropping out, they'll embrace Dr. Ben Carson, the retired pediatric neurosurgeon who is in second place.
"This is the period of the outsider and [there are] two completely different personas here, but Ben Carson at least for now is providing an alternative persona and a lot of red meat for conservatives in the race," he said....

Maybe my vote will actually count this time. Last two primaries have been over by the time it gets here. The RNC said they were going to fix that. Still waiting.
It is possible. I like Trump but there is a level of resistance. We will see.

Trump is winning over people who did originally oppose him.
Case in point, just this morning the guy who organized the debate last night, in which Trump was ambushed by the Bush operative posing as a harmless little charming woman, said Trump completely won him over.
(at least that is what I interpreted things to be, it was MSNBC on the Morning Joe.)
He said Trump won him over.
Trump is doing that. He speaks about what is on his mind. Then people respect him for it.
He’s a real guy. I think he’s going to win.
If you count all the journalists and talking dogs for the Republican Party....probably over 500 individuals for all for all of the networks.
The problem I see is that there are a ton of disgruntled Republicans and even a fair number of disgruntled Democrats, who paint America as a broken-down 1971 Ford Pinto, and they want some guy to come in and fire a bunch of people. The only guy up for the job is Trump.
Walk into a barbershop and note the guys who are of both parties, and you’ve got a majority who are charmed by the character of Trump. Stand around an airport and listen to people quietly bring up politics as a topic, and Trump is the guy that they’d like to see in the job.
Face it....for fifteen-odd years, the journalists for all of the networks and even Fox News have been telling us how screwed-up America is, and we’ve come to agree with them, and the fix by our perception isn’t another Senator or fake Republican, or 8-line resume Democrat.
Whether Trump can do the job or not....he’s not going to fizzle out in the early primary season.

He wont announce that he’s running.
He wont file the papers.
He wont release financials.

Agreed. As as much as I dislike Trump he's still head and shoulders above those two.

He is leading comfortably in every poll. Barring something drastic. I don’t see it. I know he has the entire Establishment gunning for him but unless they have a polaroid of him doing something stupid 30 years ago and blow it out of proportion....I don’t see it happening.
The fact that the two frontrunners for the GOP nod are NOT politicians (former or current) says everything. The GOP ESTABLISHMENT created this mess, we gave them control of both houses of Congress and they have done nothing.
Its gotten to the point that a blind man can see this nation going down the toilet, we have no leadership in DC, from the Executive to the Legislative, nothing. All you have is POLITICS AS USUAL.
It looks like WE THE PEOPLE are tired of politics as usual.
I am trying to keep a list of all the pundits who have come out predicting Trump’s pending doom...They are going into a list of people whose opinions, views and judgement I will question from this point forward.
Conventional wisdom says Trump will fade.
It also said he should have dropped below 10% a month ago.

A little bit of peaking by the outsider. But I do think the voters are looking at others
besides long standing politicians for a change.
Jeb is polling bellow 10%, yet has been spending money in Iowa like a drunken sailor. No one is saying he is done, but the guy who has a comfortable lead is being painted as an idiot show girl.
I still say Trump won’t be the candidate. The GOPe will make sure he is not if they have to screw the voters over to do it.
