Ted Cruz raised $12.2 million in the past three months for his Republican presidential bid, about twice what competitor Marco Rubio collected in the same time period.

The new numbers are being circulated by the campaigns ahead of a deadline next week to report fundraising to federal regulators. The quarterly figures mark a practical and symbolic measure of strength for all presidential candidates, but they don't tell the whole story.

Cruz and Rubio both topped Rand Paul, whose presidential campaign said it had pulled in $2.5 million through the end of September....

"All the gold out there means nothing if he doesn’t start connecting with voters."

"Start" connecting?

That's one of his strengths, and it's precisely what he's been doing all these months as he lays his ground game in the states.

I don’t have any numbers for the last quarter, but the four Cruz SuperPACs are ahead of everyone not named Bush.

Many are decieved and fooled into thinking with Donald Trump’s ; money, influence, face recognition will guarantee that he wins, no in uncertain terms does it mean that he will automatically win.

To the Ted Cruz supporters who are thinking of going dark.

Now is not the time to go dark, now is the time to stand and make a stand in the light even if you have to do it alone.

The herd brain mentality is going for Donald Trump.

I guess him being cozy and nice and playing footses with the Teamsters Unions do not bother some Conservatives here on Free Republic ?

Donald Trump has his purpose just like God used King Cyris.

Get over it Trump supporters, he is using you as tools of fools, he is pulling your chains.

Those who compromise with their conservative values and moderates will never connect or understand Ted Cruz and his supporters because they are of a different ideology.

We need to smoke them out and call them out for what they really are.

Many of them say issues that of abortion and the institute of marriage between a man and a woman do not matter.

.
Just seeing how the MSM treat the biggest news maker short of Obama, assures me that they know full well that he is the only threat that their agenda has to face.

I’m a Trump/Cruz guy. Cruz makes waves
as a senator, but if he’s broken out as
a candidate, the polls don’t show it
and I don’t see it.

Trump engages the uninformed.

He gets no traction whatsoever with the well informed.

His negatives have steadily risen, and the more he talks, the bigger they will get. He is constantly making little slips that his sycophants ignore adoringly, but that the serious listeners latch onto, and will not forget.

So far, there are no polls.

Or do you mean the push polls that are run to manipulate public opinion?

The MSM ‘polls’ will continue to puff Trump and Carly, because they are the MSM’s choice for the GOP nomination.

Ok. Whatever you say.

Bravado has gotten lots of people in trouble in the past. Just remember all of this has to translate into something. Just assuming that some super secret groundswell exists that no one is remotely able to see can be a recipe for major disappointment.
