Miss Alabama Meg McGuffin finished as the Fourth Runner Up in the Miss America 2016 pageant tonight.
But she may have landed first in the hearts of those who are sick and tired of Donald Trump. McGuffin said Trump is an "entertainer" and that Republicans should be "terrified" by the possibility of having him as President of the United States.
McGuffin, Miss Alabama 2015 had a few choice words about Donald Trump as she competed for the 2016 Miss America Competition crown.
Miss America judge Taya Kyle, widow of US Navy SEAL Chris Kyle, asked McGuffin the following on stage question: "According to a poll released this week, Donald Trump is leading Republican candidates by 32% of the vote. Why do you think he is leading by such an overwhelming margin?"
Miss Alabama's answer: "I think Donald Trump is an entertainer and I think he says what's on a lot of peoples' minds, but I think the Republican party should be absolutely terrified of all the attention that he is taking from incredible candidates like Jeb Bush and Chris Christie who could absolutely do the job of President of the United States....

I believe Trump is NOT a DC insider and because this I like him.....a lot.
I also like Cruz and would like to see both of them on the ticket in any order.
You seem clueless to the fact before America can begin the long climb back it is first necessary to STOP the slide. To do this the FIRST thing necessary is to get rid of the Democrats.
I will vote for whomever is the nominee and I suggest you and your “perfectionist” Conservative friends do likewise.
Cruz is the only one I'm contributing to, but even then, his whacked out ideas on trade, H1B visas, and intellectual property lead me to suspect he's got the same Washington fever that everyone else seems to catch. As Carson's 'interesting' ideas gain more widespread knowledge, hopefully Cruz can ride the elevator up into double digits in more states. Walker's my third choice.
He very well could have, but I can’t find any where that says he did.
Most are liberal when they are young. I was apolitical myself, but Carter changed that as the country sank into malaise.
What an airhead.
I don’t buy into his H1B visa stance, either, but at least it’s legal immigration and generally, skilled people.
Tried that in 2008 and 2012, which is probably why I am expecting better from our side than a disingenuous side show. For someone who's supposed to be an outsider, Trump is awfully cozy with a lot of politicians.
It is legal employment, but has nothing to do with immigration, and it replaces those who could have been hired here. The deal only serves the cheap labor express, and if he supports that, he'll support legalizing illegal aliens just as quickly.
Trump is first Nd foremost a BUSINESS MAN and by any measure a very BIG business man.the work he does involves close involvement with State and local government during the permit process. He is often dealing with the EPA and it is crucial he “grease the wheels” legally and in the form of contributions to both Party’s.
You apparently lack a knowledge of how a business the size Trump’s operates by neccessity.
She’s an airhead
And while I’m impressed with the length of those legs
She’s not an intellectual giant

No, he won’t and he’s the only candidate to say that he would not grant amnesty to illegals. In fact, he introduced legislation to expedite deportation hearings and repatriation. Of course, it went nowhere because the other Republicans would not back it.
IIRC Phenix City is the repository of all illegal/immoral activity emanating from Ft. Benning. Those towns near military bases always have red light districts, some redder than others.
No, you lack knowledge of what of an outsider is. It’s impossible to be that intertwined and live up to it.
We were flipping around and caught all the question and answers. We are doomed. Every answer other than the one on gun violence and the 2nd amendment were straight out of the liberal “conventional wisdom” boilerplate talking point book.
Totally stupid answers. All off the premise that I was hoping at least one girl would call out. Stupid questions and dumber answers.
And yeah, I loved it when Miss Ala whined that Trump was basically taking the oxygen and others “can’t get noticed” or some such BS she spouted. Then added, “like Bush and Christie”. I died laughing.
The Planned Parenthood question was loaded and from a very cute but stupid liberal bimbo. The answer was so bad I started wondering if all of these women combined had an IQ of close to 100.
And she threw out “mammograms” which they DON’T do.
Her answer could have been more forceful. She threw out the liberal pablam of “education”. Really? Like everyone that owns a gun doesn’t know how to use it properly?
Worse was the bimbo saying we need to “train cops” like all cops are untrained morons running around shooting unarmed black kids.
I swear every question and answer was out of the liberal talking point book.
We are doomed.
Trump’s greatest strength is he has no NEED to be president. I believe as do many others that he has an idea and a vision for the country and will give it his best shot without any fear of the PC fools and other agenda drivin jerks interfering with him. He has shown he can pretty say what he wants as long as it coincides with what the majority believes but has been afraid to say.
If you understand the harm being done to us by the PC crowd and the very reason they exist then you can understand how important Trump’s slap down of them is.
Those who see the trouble we are in know it’s cause and no one gives a damn about Trump’s businesses. If anything they are a great source of admiration for him by all except the looney Left who think anyone who has more than they do is pure evil (unless they get a piece of it).
Again, I'm a Cruz supporter, but what would Ted Cruz trade to get expedited deportation hearings? A codified 'dreamer' act? I betcha that he'd be willing to make that trade. And without actual support in congress, he (or Trump) would be in constant horse trading deals.
I’d like to think not, since he’s a great student of The Constitution and history. Deals on amnesty never work. Whatever you expect to occur in return won’t happen. Reagan found that out the hard way and I’m certain Cruz keeps that as a reminder.
