He’s had this lady on his side from the first moment I met him. I think he’s very impressive, and so right on the issues I care about.

Yes I don’t get that either. Why is someone surprised that women would support Cruz?? Are they still off on that war on women meme???

I was wondering the same thing. What is “unlikely” about women.

A pro life candidate better court female voters.

I wish I was still a Young Republican in NYC. Because there were so few of us, I got to meet all the big wigs of the Republican party back in the 80s - including Reagan. I would love to shake Ted’s hand. A fine man and politician!!!

Women? They’re only half the population. He should just ignore them. /S

Carly knocked it out of the women's park with her "look at my face" speech.

I think she will take a majority of the women's vote.

Oh don’t you know? According to the media Republicans should change their logo to Bill Cosby with a bottle pills in one hand and a bloody coathanger in the other. Katie can’t imagine women that don’t think like her.

The author is no doubt a liberal feminist and thinks it sacrilege for all females not to support Mrs. Bill Clinton.

...so why even try.

Not unlikely at all. The majority of “women” regularly vote Republican.

The majority of Sandra Fluke whores and professional welfare animals, on the other hand....

"Unlikely" how?

Women are a single issue voting block! If you are pro-life then you are obviously anti-woman! Some man "gets her in trouble" and then refuses her a "way out".

Don't you read the Op-Ed pages?

Don't you listen to NPR and The View?

You must be one of those Neanderthal, male chauvinist pigs left over from caveman days!

According to the Marxist Media, women only care about abortion rights.

They try.

I have no problem with Trump’s treatment of women. he is always a gent when he speaks with people like Judge J Pirro, Greta, Seems to me.

He seems like someone I, as a girl, or anyone, would not want to insult or unfairly attack if I didn’t expect him to hit back even if I am a girl, because I’d be entering the ring with him.

What’s so unlikely? I’d be thrilled to have a chance to vote for him.

"Sen. Ted Cruz strode through a resort here, past booths selling elephant-print scarves, “gently loved furs” and rhinestone pins spelling out presidential candidates’ names — and headed straight into a crowd of screaming women.

“Oh, my God,” one exclaimed as she spotted Cruz walking toward her at the National Federation of Republican Women’s annual conference."

Hey, wait, this can't be right. A poster on another thread announced that Cruz doesn't know how to connect with people, LOL.

I was there in Phoenix at the National Federation of Republican Women Convention. Cruz was great. Better than Carly Fiorina who was very good as well. Cruz won the straw poll and the crowd was crazy about him even before he got there. But you know what surprised me the most? How many young volunteers he has. He also said that he raised the most hard money this reporting period than anyone else. Interesting. I was in a private meeting with him, and he was serious, but dynamic. When he got in front of 1500 women, he was funny and sincere. I will try to post some pictures later.

Why would women be unlikely to support an intelligent, patriotic candidate who is likely to do more to protect our country and create jobs than anyone else in the race? Oh. Right. The WaPo criticizes all republicans uniformly, with the exception of supporting the weakest GOP candidate right up until he has the nomination (e.g., Dole, McCain, Romney, and now Jeb).
