An overnight poll taken in the wake of Thursday’s bombastic GOP debates on Fox News shows the big winners seem to be Carly Fiorina, Ted Cruz, and Donald Trump.
NBC News reports:
Donald Trump has the support of 23% of Republican primary voters following the debate, which had the highest viewership ever for a primary debate, with 24 million watchers. The poll was in the field for only a 24-hour period, during which Mr. Trump continued to make more headlines for his comments about Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly, which got him disinvited from speaking at a gathering of conservatives in Atlanta.
Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina were the candidates with the most gains in support, 7 points and 6 points respectively, but there was no real change among most candidates given an error estimate of plus or minus 3.4 percentage points.
Among Trump supporters, a majority – 54% – said they would vote for him for president as an independent candidate, even if he does not win the Republican nomination.

At this point, it's important to have Trump in the race. Otherwise, Cruz is the next target. The priority should be getting Jeb, Christie and Graham (and probably Walker) out of there.

Three non-politicians and the most anti-establishment politician in the race (who happened to call out his Senate leader) are at the top, totaling 55% of the reponses.
The GOPe better take note.
Fiorina jumped the shark yesterday with her defense of Megyn Kelly and criticism of Cruz.
They think they’ve got it handled.

Trump lost one percentage point after his Trump Kelly Blood Feud according to RealClearPolitic averages from 24 to 23.
If Sanders and Trump each start a new Party, 26 percent could win the election.
You are right, 2nd Div. I looked all morning at the polling sites and did not find this poll anywhere. So thanks.
No one would have the 270 votes to win, and then the election would go to the House of Representatives to decide on the winner. It has happened before.
