Donald Trump surging in New Hampshire, Iowa

Donald Trump has surged to the lead in the New Hampshire GOP presidential primary and virtually erased Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s advantage in the Iowa caucuses, according to new NBC News/Marist polls released Sunday.

In Iowa, Walker still tops the field with 19 percent, the poll shows — only two points ahead of Trump, who garners 17 percent. Interviews for the poll began on July 14 — the day after the Walker campaign’s launch event in Wisconsin. The only other candidate in double digits is former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, at 12 percent.

Those lagging behind include a number of candidates banking on strong finishes in Iowa. Neurosurgeon Ben Carson is in fourth place, at 8 percent, followed by former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee at 7 percent, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul at 5 percent, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz at 4 percent and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio at 4 percent.

Trump said he's going to make China play fair. what's wrong with that? You like it that China makes 90% of the PCs and 70% of cell phones and the USA makes close to 0%? China manipulates its currency and rips off the USA and Americans.

One country China makes almost everything in the world. The USA will soon make nothing. China is the world's manufacturing super power. The USA has hundreds of trillion of dollars in unfunded liabilities. This needs to be turned around now.

What you say is lies. Have you even seen a video of trump ? . Trump said he is going to threaten China to make China stop it’s tarrifs on U.S. products and to make China stop manipulating its currency.

I will take his words written by him over something printed in Rolling Stone. Like I said, I am reading two of his books. One from before the 2000 election and one from 2011 and so far he is consistent in both books.

If I find any discrepancies I will post them.

I did not start reading his books with any preconceived ideas. I started reading them to find out what all of the hoopla was about. But, I am impressed with what he wrote.

Like I said earlier, I am a Cruz fan but if he doesn't get the nomination I will support Trump.

Seems that way too many here seem to lack the finesse to understand the logic behind supporting Trump at this time. This has nothing to do with who you actually vote for ya know, it is an effort to destroy the RINOs in Washington.

Sometimes it seems that Conservatives are too logical in their thinking to ever think outside the box. Oh well.

Good luck with your voting for Cruz (I also plan to) but know that if he wins, it will be because someone like Trump finally stood up to the RINO’s and the MSM.

I'm glad I am not held to the things I said and ideas I had 15 or 20 years ago. I have, like most people do, grown a little older and hopefully a little wiser.

On surface your list sounds liberal. In reality if you have capacity to think deeper, 4 out of 5 items in your list are actually conservative. It does not look like you can think that deep, so I won't bother explaining. Besides you are digging up stuff from 15-16 years ago. By your thinking Reagan should have been disqualified to run for governor of California because 15 years back he was a democrat union official.

But like I said, read books written by Trump first, then your opinions would have some value. Right now it is just hot air.
