The Supreme Court's ruling on marriage equality has dominated the headlines since its announcement and it's been an issue Meghan McCain, blogger, GLAAD board member and daughter of Sen. John McCain (R-Arizona) has been fighting for since 2008.
"It was considered quite scandalous," McCain told Mac and Gaydos on 92.3 KTAR of her coming out in support of same sex marriage seven years ago.
"It was the type of thing that got a lot of media attention, a lot of people thought I was crazy and completely out of touch with reality and now, people come out for marriage equality all the time who are also conservative and it doesn't get that much attention. So we are living in completely different times."
Regardless of that cultural change and the SCOTUS ruling, McCain still feels there is a long way to go for marriage equality.
"In case we forget, there's a lot of work culturally left to do. For as many people that are excited as I am, there's just as many people that are having epic meltdowns about it."
Sixty percent of Republicans are not in favor of Friday's Supreme Court ruling and McCain is urging her party to change that.
"Everyone has to get in line, this is the America we're living in," McCain said. "I don't think we want to live in a time where we can regulate who can and can't love someone and who can and can't have different rights than another citizen."
McCain went on, with consideration for the 2016 election.
"If whoever the nominee is doesn't support marriage equality, we're going to be seen as a party of intolerance and a party of the dark ages and it's going to impossible for someone like me to defend."
Enough of these perversions promoted by the left. Just because anyone can claim a gemder preference. Unless their body parts change with it. As with discharges of eggs from a male body part, and sperm from a female body part, that validates such a claim . Otherwise that assertion should be dismissed as a mental disorder. and treated as such .
The same applies to this perverted idealization of marriage which destroys the concept of family . If Our Creator wanted mankind to procreate like animals wouldn’t God have willed the act be performed using the same method instead the intimacy of facing each other ?
Homosexuals have always had the same right as anyone else to marry someone with whom there is a reasonable expectation to procreate and have children naturally.
Gay “marriage” is not about equal rights. Nor is it about love or one’s choice of sexual partner. It is about a tiny minority tearing down the institution of marriage because they do not wish to participate in it and, for some reason, that bothers them.
There will be a reckoning
I’m waiting for the Conservative relatives of Democrats to be interviewed. *crickets*
If this corpulent, mindless twat were not a leftist related to a Republican (albeit a fake one), the media wouldn’t give her the time of day.
That’ll do, pig. That’ll do.
Go to hell bimbo. and take your dad with you
MM you are in the ‘dark ages’ of your soul since you ignore the Light and wisdom of God’s Word. Your path leads to destruction of the soul and gay perversions are the chariot of transport. You better get in line with God’s designs of marriage or lose your soul with the gay losers.
Oh, blarg. I thought she’d found something useful to do with her life and we’d never hear from her again. So much for that ...
That is a most unfortunate fact.
It would serve her well and be much more pleasant for the rest of us if she and her ilk would take heed these words of wisdom:
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.
Coffee hasn't kicked in yet.
It is never enough. Never enough. It is now the law of the land per the Supreme Court. Yet, there is a "long way to go"? They want a Supreme Court ruling that I can't have a meltdown about it. KMA.

Why anyone would want to celebrate anything to do with gay sex still blows my mind.
Saving this
