GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump didn't take kindly to Republican operative Karl Rove saying on "Fox News Sunday" that people should ignore Trump as a serious candidate.
As he often does with his critics, Trump took to Twitter Sunday to denounce Rove:
Donald J. Trump

.@KarlRove still thinks Romney won! He doesn't have a clue!

Trump specifically addressed Rove's criticism that even though he announced his run on Tuesday, he still had not filed a one-page declaration of candidacy with the Federal Elections Commission.
Rove said Trump will put that off as long as possible because it will force him to lay out his vast assets and liabilities.
"He gets to have two 45-day extensions," Rove said. "He will delay filing that piece of paper, and mark my words, he will delay and ask for extensions as long as possible.(continued)

That’s Rove’s issue?
The irony is that Romney might actually have won if he’d fired Rove’s people instead of having them run his pathetic campaign.
The RINO establishment is AFRAID of Trump because they do not own him.
KarlRove still thinks Romney won! He doesn’t have a clue!
So true. I wish this clown would fade away. He hurts the republican party far more than he helps.

Trump or Rove?
Even though I probably wouldn’t vote for Trump, he will definitely stir things up ... that is a good thing for the GOP. IMHO
There is a segment of the GOP which is very strongly against Trump at the moment.
Part of that segment, is the same segment currently in charge - in the House and the Senate.
I can’t tell whether there is overlap between that segment, and the segment here on FR which is opposing Trump (hard) at the moment.
But there is an obvious organized effort currently, to portray Trump negatively.
Big time.
Well Rove might be right....but I say let Trump roll as only Trump can do until then...after all it’s his money he’s running on.
Don’t worry about it and let the cards play.
I have never witnessed Trump debate anybody.
Lets see it before we all see where it is going.
Today in a televised interview Rove said that the only way to prevent gun violence is to remove all guns from society. There you have idiots openly defying the constitution and don’t realize that even if the government ever attempted such a thing more people than ever would die and would make the first civil war look like a cake walk. All political leaders know that power ultimately power comes from a barrel of a gun and those with weapons will always impose their will on others. Hitler, Stalin, Moa, every genocidal megalomaniac that ever controlled who had weapons in their society. Our founders knew this and established that government would never be able to take citizens weapons. Those that ever try will be rooted out and pruned from the tree of liberty. Come and take them.
Rove. He’s done great harm to the republican party.
I have no problem if Trump wants to be heard. That certainly doesn’t mean I will vote for him. Sometimes, it helps to have someone thinking from outside the beltway.
I have to copy that and make it a bumper sticker.
The moonbats will think I’m an Irish/Jew
I have seen John McCain debate and he said to not worry about his counterpart in Barrack Hussein Obama.
He would make a fine President.
He wasn’t there to win, he was there to make sure Conservatives lost.
It’s out there. I have one on my truck. Some seminary students asked me for the translation. They recognized the Greek but as with all foreign languages verb tenses can be awkward. I am told literally it translates to “(you) having come, take them.”. We know it in a slightly different form which means the same thing.
