It's early in the campaign cycle, but it's never too early to speculate on who will win in 2016. Though most of my friends are "Ready for Hillary," I am confident that Marco Rubio will be the next president of the United States. Here's why:
Marco Rubio is handsome. The effects of physical looks on presidential elections are well documented. The most famous example was 1960, when John F. Kennedy was perceived by television viewers to have beaten Nixon in their presidential debate and radio listeners said Nixon won. Data confirms the importance of looks. Researchers at Princeton University found that the candidate voted as more competent-looking went on to win in 69% of the gubernatorial races and 72% of the Senate races. A University of California study quantified the effect of attractiveness at a 13% vote swing.
Marco Rubio is a young, handsome, attractive candidate who physically exudes a leader presence. For all the importance of money and policy on the outcome of elections, data seems to indicate that looks count for a whole lot. This will carry Rubio through the primary and help him beat Hilary Clinton in the general election.
Marco Rubio is a genuine conservative. In recent years, the Republican Party has found itself divided between its mainstream camp and its Tea Party element. We saw this stark contrast in the vote swings that dominated the 2012 primary race. Mitt Romney represented the center of the party, but constantly had to vie against contenders on the right - Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, and Newt Gingrich, to name a few - who claimed to be "genuine" conservatives. Rubio has held true to conservative values since he first ran for political office, relying on the strong history of Florida Cubans allying with the Republican Party....

No, I think it is by the standards of men in Washington—they somehow think he’s handsome and women must be attracted to him.
He’s flabby and has a comb over now.
In 10 years Rubio will be just another fat, bald guy.
And he somehow manages to have a simultaneously whiny and patronizing—a la Mr. Rogers—voice.
IMO the dude has no sex appeal at all. I’d put Walker, Cruz, Jindal and Paul ahead of him on that count. (He might have Jeb and Chris Christie beat.)
I bet he doesn’t have ONE hair on his chest either.
RE: looks.
I watched some of a live stream of Hillary in Iowa at some bicycle shop townhall chat.
She didn’t appear to have much make-up on. I had to chuckle as she has so much baggage that she had big bags under her eyes.
I wonder how that will play if/when she ever does go public with her campaign.
Ha ha—probably not.
Wasn’t it last week that the conservative wannabes were said to have a special private meeting in Atlanta.
Wonder what the result of that was.
I’ll be happy with Rubio, Walker or Cruz. So, this is a good thing.
He’s “articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.”— Joe Biden on Obama.
As long as I have Cruz and Rubio to pick... I’m happy.
I don’t know about the “young and handsome,” but Rubio just possibly could win if Hillary turns people off and he’s the neutral gray unobjectionable alternative, sort of like what “regular guy” Bush was when set against pedantic, pompous Gore. Ted Cruz is going to have a harder time being neutral gray and unobjectionable and persuading people he’s a regular guy.
So is Ted Cruz.
Marco Rubio is a genuine conservative.
No he is not.
Genuine conservatives don’t conspire behind closed doors with Chuck Schumer against the citizens and then lie about what is in the bill.
He is still for “Comprehensively Screwing Americans Out Of Their Country.”
I will not vote for national suicide.
I’m never doing that again.
Romney was the last time.
Rubio isn’t my first choice, but he is far better than Romney or Bush.
I won’t be supporting him in the primary, but I also won’t be trashing him because if he is the nominee, I am definitely going to get behind him in the general election.
I think this Huff Post dude has the hots for Rubio.
Marco........... To compare him to JFK is an insult to JFK.

If anyone should be insulted by the comparison, it should be Marco. Who wants to be compared to a womanizing, whore monger who was boinking broads in the White House when his wife wasn’t there? IMO, JFK’s morals were just as low, or lower, than Bill Clinton’s.
I bet he doesnt have ONE hair on his chest either.

God gave us all the same amount of hormones. Male hormones are used for growing two things. Sounds like you wasted yours on hair.
I don’t think you’re in tune with the D party.
