They haven’t been nice to Cruz. He helped bail out GWB in the FL recount. And look how they treated the FL secretary of state, K. Harris, who helped too. For that matter, the Bushes weren’t very nice to Lee Atwater, who supposedly got GHWB elected.

The author (Democrat) says there is no difference
between Sen. Cruz and the lying, betraying Boehner
and McConnell.
Hmmmmmm. What say you all?
Did Sen. Cruz coverup treason like the rest?
Did Sen. Cruz sic the IRS on conservatives and Tea Party
like the odious McConnell and McCain?

With a headline like that, the cognitive dissonance of the author is well-established.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
The GOP has to be at least somewhat cordial to him, because they know if it gets into a bare-bones fight between the two, Cruz would absolutely destroy the GOPe!

Plus, despite what the author and many other scribblers say, he has a better than average shot at the White House. They’re not using up all these man hours writing about someone with no chance at winning, believe me.

If you want to read more about this Jonathan Bernstein idiot you can take a peak at the articles he has posted over at
Salon.
But I don't recommend it. You may end up throwing a brick through your computer screen.
OTOH, when guys like Bernstein are throwing rocks at Cruz you know he is on target with his message and his strategy.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
For a guy who, supposedly, hasn’t got a chance of being president, the left-wing media is sure wasting a lot of ink on him.
To: hoosierham
See my post right after yours. I offered a similar recommendation, but with a twist.
In any case you are right. Bernstein is not worth reading.

Nothing like a liberal journalist to convince Republicans how to win elections!

Exactly. As much as they try to ignore him, I don't see nearly as many articles about Carson or Graham or Perry or Santorum or Huckster, all of whole have "the same" or even a "better" chance of winning the nomination. Supposedly. Even Rubio and Walker aren't nearly as widespread in the news as Cruz is.
But, once we get to the debates, it'll be over. Rubio won't have legs to stand on, Bush will likely be gone by then, and while Walker is decent, he just doesn't have the same passion and smoothness that Cruz does. And I'm pretty sure he uses notes :p

Well then the fight can’t come soon enough.

They didn’t support Scooter Libby in the end either. Never understood that failure to pardon.
