MILFORD, N.H. Sen. Rand Paul claimed hed be the Republican with the best chance of picking up black voters in the 2016 presidential campaign and suggested a major scandal will soon threaten Democrat Hillary Clintons likely candidacy during a stop here one day after announcing hes running for the White House.
Ive tried to expand the Republican Party by taking the message to places Republicans havent gone, Paul said yesterday when asked by the Herald whether he is the Tea Party candidate in the race. Ive spent the last several years going to historically black colleges, going to large major cities, going to inner city schools at a dozen cities ... going to the Urban League, talking to NAACP leaders.
Paul wouldnt say what separates him from the only other declared GOP candidate Texas Sen. Ted Cruz but said his support goes far beyond just the Tea Party.
What youre seeing early on with polling is when you see me polled against Hillary Clinton in purple states and in some blue states, we do better than any other Republican. We believe thats because we attract independent voters better than any other candidate, he said.
No state, however, may be more important to the Paul campaign than New Hampshire, which was his first stop after announcing his candidacy in Louisville, Kentucky Tuesday.
I do think we do need to win New Hampshire, said Paul.
Paul walked in to a packed crowd at Milford Town Hall with the driving guitars of Frankenstein by The Edgar Winter Group blaring and chants of President Paul!(continued)

He inspired me to vote for Virgil Goode.
Find me a single 1984 poll that showed that majority Americans wanted businesses to be forced to service gay rituals.

Really? Could you please point me to the facts surrounding your accusation about Cruz?
I would like to read it in his words. Thank you ahead of time.
I really insist you back that up.
"In his June 2013 press release he stated that [w]e must . . . fix this problem in a way that . . . respects rule of law . . . . He further stated: Providing a path to citizenship undermines the rule of law and is an insult to the millions who have immigrated to the U.S. legally. But he was willing to provide legal status to illegal immigrants, short of citizenship.

Are you freaking serious? I laugh in your face! You made a bold claim that
Cruz supported Amnesty, now PROVE IT! You made the stupid lying claim.
That's right, You lied and now you want me to disprove something that
never happened? You're a liberal hack is what you are.
Walker-Bot is putting it nicely. I cannot stand you liars.
Now back it up or take it back! It's on you for lying, not me.
Where is the proof Cruz said that? I demand to see it if you and others
are going to spread gossip and rumors.
This is editorializing like all the alphabet channels are doing right now.
You and other "Bots" are eating this slop up like a chocolate sundae.
But what you're really eating is GOP crap served with a cherry on top.
Don’t be so lazy...there are many links to senator Cruz’s position on Amnesty to illegals. In my book, when illegal immigrants who broke our laws are allowed to stay, it is certainly amnesty.
“Sen Ted Cruz also supports temporary LEGALIZATION status in the immigration Bill”
Need more proof? I got lots more...
“A drug abuser who indulges at home, is not driving a car intoxicated, who does not sell drugs, and is non-violent, should not be incarcerated. “
Find me a case where they are.
“The poor people get prison time more often because they can not afford good lawyers.”
We tried RAND PAUL’s little experiment - of not putting criminals in jail, for about 30 years (1965 to 1995), and had the BIGGEST CRIME WAVE in this country’s history. I’m old enough to REMEMBER virtually all of it. In Houston they had a TV show called “City Under Siege”. The show ended in the mid 90s, once MANDATORY SENTENCING took hold.
You may miss those days, I SURE AS HELL DO NOT.
“The GOP still wins most midterms because lib voters stay home for those. “
Then how did we get OUR BUTTS KICKED in 2006? In other we’re OBVIOUSLY not getting the full story.
“If you really think that Americans on the average are more conservative than they were in 1984 then you are on drugs.(or just believe whatever Mark and Rush say)”
Find me a post where I said that. The FDR/JFK Democrats sure as hell were more conservative than the people they got replaced with - but they would NEVER leave the Democrat Party...no matter what they did.
My point is that Americans STILL have problem with gay marriage, but are SICK OF FIGHTING IT. That is a big difference. Yes, I agree, the country has drifted somewhat left culturally. My point is the Democrats have VEERED LEFT much more so. Most parents STILL don’t want their kids having sex before they 10 years old, the Democrats (when you get them alone), do. One example.
“(or just believe whatever Mark and Rush say)”
Any reason for using DEMOCRAT talking points?
“Were not disagreeing here as far as I can tell. Calling McQueeg and Willard Moderates is giving them too much credit, as they were nothing but leftist ringers for Zero.”
Agree...maybe just our definition of “moderate”. Compared with the country, McCain is a moderate, at least in my book. After all, he voted AGAINST Obamacare - liberals did not. There are other issues like that. But yes, he does make me sick, still.
“Find me a single 1984 poll that showed that majority Americans wanted businesses to be forced to service gay rituals.”
If I answered a phone call from a poll like that, I would likely agree with the poll - considering what that pizza joint went through, for example. I don’t know who’s calling, whether it’s being recorded, and how it might be used. My daughter has a fairly high level job at Apple, she knows EXACTLY how to answer a phone call like that, from a stranger doing a poll - if she wants to keep working there.
But for most people - we just give them the answer they want, and hope they go away.
The two "editorials" do not quote Cruz, the writers are taking it onto
themselves to speak for him, they are attacking him for something he never
legislated or Said..
You have not provided proof, and you write books? Really?
I suggest you go through those links you posted and do some reading, Mr. Book writer.
Deception is a lie, promoting deception is a lie. Promoting lies is pathetic.
I trust those writers 1000 times more than anonymous posters like you, who use crude language in their posts.
I am a fan of the TV show Cops. I watch it many times a week. Every show has incidents where they show people apprehended for minor amounts of marijuana possession, arrested and sent to jail.
Only criminals who should get mandatory prison is violent criminals including domestic violence, drug sellers, burglars, people stealing large amounts of money or goods, hijackers, treasonous acts, etc. A person caught with small amounts of marijuana doe not belong in prison. Incremental fines for each offense is sufficient.
Pander, no.
But the (conservative) message needs to be specifically tailored to Black voters if we are to have any expectation of success, I don’t view that as pandering, some do. A one size fits all approach is doing nothing.
I also agree with Bob that we should strive for an increasingly large share of the White vote, normal (non-libtard) Whites vote against their interest by voting democrat.
One idea I had that may or may not be foolish, call it “tough love”, a page from Bill Cosby. With our current bottom basement numbers, it couldn’t hurt much.
You have Republicans, ideally Black Republicans, go into the inner cities and tell the Black community basically “You suck, your kids are getting are shots and not by cops. You aren’t escaping poverty by voting democrat”. “You say Republicans don’t talk to you? Try opening your god d*** ears, it’s a TWO WAY STREET”.
“tough love, a page from Bill Cosby”
That would have sounded a lot less creepy a couple of years ago ....
You having trouble reading?
Let be try again
