I can understand these senators not signing:
Jeff Flake - Ariz
Lisa Mukowski - Alaska
Lamar Alexander - Tenn
Thad Cochran - Miss
Susan Collins - Maine
I am surprised these 2 did not sign the letter:
Bob Corker - Tenn
Dan Coats - Ind

I’m surprised McCain and Lindsey signed it. It was obviously tea party inspired. /s

Mitch McConnell did sign it. That’s all you need to know. Obama is loving this. You don’t think Republicans came up with this idea. Somebody in the White House or Democrat Congress came up with this, and succeeded in getting the Republicans to fall into their trap.

The usual suspects. They are so predictable. I really wish we had term limits...

The Left says it's Treason under the Logan act.
I say it's Article II, Section II, Clause II
Clause 2: Advice and Consent Clause
The President exercises the powers in the Advice and Consent Clause with the advice and consent of the Senate.
He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur
The letter is just letting the Ayatollahs know how it works over here.

The letter is impressive in that it does seem to demonstrate that Senator Cotton has integrity and values. My only question is that there wasn't the same commitment from some who signed the letter to stop and reverse the invasion of the US. McConnell, McCain, and Alexander all traitored us on that vote. McConnell will step up to the plate on foreign affairs but wouldn't risk "shutting down the government" to save the US from Obama's excesses.
Summary....saving the US should be the first priority!

It surprised you that Corker was there? If one of the Tennessee RINO twins (LAMAR!) is on the list, can the other be far behind? Why Tennessee keeps voting elephant sized RINOs into office I will never know. But those two boys are guaranteed votes for the democrats most of the time.

I can also understand why the 5 you mentioned did not sign Cotton’s letter to Iran. It’s because they are a word that begins with C and ends with T; chicken***t. I don’t know why you’re surprised that Corker and Coats didn’t sign. They were both RINOs before they came out of the closet.
