Four leading Republican presidential prospects are expected to appear this weekend in the California desert before an exclusive gathering of rich conservatives convened by the Koch brothers political operation, several sources tell POLITICO.
Sens. Ted Cruz of Texas, Rand Paul of Kentucky and Marco Rubio of Florida, and Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, received coveted invitations to speak to the vaunted network assembled by the billionaire industrialist mega-donors Charles and David Koch, the sources said.
The meeting, set to be held at a Palm Springs hotel, is the annual winter gathering of Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce, the nonprofit group that oversees the network of fiscally conservative groups formed with help from the Kochs and their operatives.
None of the White House prospects invited to the meeting this weekend responded to questions about whether they planned to attend and, if so, what they planned to discuss. A spokesman for Freedom Partners declined to comment on the function, which is closed to the press....

I like him too. I also like Cruz. But it’s way to early to decide. Let’s see how he and Cruz do in the runup and early primaries.
Walker supports “pathway amnesty” to ultimately allow 40 MILLION new socialist voters for the final piece to overthrow our Constitution.
No thanks!!!!
I guess whoever he feels can carry out his ideals of global domination through communism. Or he may convert to islam if it furthers his goals. What a POS.
Walker. He could not deliver Wisconsin in 2012.

That was Paul Ryan (VP candidate) who failed to deliver Wisconsin...
Hmm, lets see, he decertified Public Employee Unions in Wisconson, helped flip both houses to the GOP, and has won three state wide elections in four years in a Blue state.
Yes, he could not save Mitt Romney from his wretched campaign.
The first of your three examples is essentially Ronald Reagan’s “13th Commandment”.
Who is George Soros supporting in 2016?
Yes....and how many hit pieces does Polutico write about Uncle Georgie’s political contributions, each year? They seem quite obsessed with all things Koch Bros.
I think all bets were off, regarding Reagan’s 13th Commandment, once the GOPe fired the FIRST salvos against TEA candidates and the TEA party.
Walker is also a weak orator. I don’t think he’ll run.
I only learned today that Walker is a POS.
Cruz is currently our only hope to turn the tide.
“Menthops is an anti-Walker troll and newby. Likely a member of a Wisconsin teachers union. Ignore post by this entity.”

Well, from his posts he/she is definitely NOT a liberal or GOPe type...just dislikes Scott Walker.
Perhaps Menthrops is simply from Wisconsin and has good “in the weeds” knowledge of Walker’s positions.
I like Scott Walker... he is a great leader.

I’d be happy seeing him get the VP spot, but, bless his heart; he is a great Conservative, but he has the demeanor and energy of Michael Dukakis. We need someone with fire in the belly. (Cruz?)
In short, he took the sides of the likes of Thad Cochran, McConnell, McCain, Graham.....

Scott Walker just got scratched off my list.
