Over the weekend Senator Harkin, while campaigning for Bruce Braley, suggested that people may vote for Joni Ernst because she’s really attractive and sounds nice, but they shouldn’t be fooled by that.
MSNBC this morning called the comments stupid and said it’s likely they could backfire on Braley:

This morning Joni Ernst went on Fox and Friends and called the Senator’s words offensive:

As we know already Ernst has jumped to a nice 7-point lead over Braley and while Harkin’s comment’s may not backfire, it certainly won’t help Braley either.
Some LIVs will come to the polls ready to vote for "Bailey" and will be confused when they can't find anyone by that name on the ballot. Maybe they won't vote for anyone.
I hope they are smart enough to write in Bailey instead of voting for this Braley impostor.
The host, the Democrats have been saying this for years to scare the old people, especially in Florida. Has anybody ever gotten their social security taken away? No. Except those collecting it for the dead and other forms of cheating (my take).
Otherwise, Braley made a huge gaffe putting down Churck Grassley for being a farmer who didn't go to law school, video at link.

She is a cutie. Good thing I’m not a liberal hack from Iowa that has stolen every dime I could from DC.
But .. but .... but she hates women. She’s got a war on them.
That’s all the democrats have to sell. That and dividing the races.
A friend in East Texas worked at the early voting polls last week. Blacks had no,problem producing ID to vote, but they did have trouble reading which was the Democrat slate. No wonder the Founders never intended this to be a democracy.
Joni has this walkin’ away. No doubt in my Midwestern Mind.
Harkin has always been a stupid loudmouth. I remember him shrieking “Bullshit! Bullshit!” at George W Bush. Classy guy, for a RAT.
I’m sure Braley wanted the last two days of his campaign to be booted out by this gaffe from the lying ‘combat veteran’ Harkin. What a long standing embarrassment to Iowa.
Iowa cousins are voting Joni.

We are surprised that Harkin said this? He would sell his mother’s soul to the devil for the good of the party!!!!!! Just my humble opinion of course.......
As for me and my house...count 2 votes for the hometown girl ... However, wife (who is not real savvy politically) was reluctant after negative radio barrage...
