WEST DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin says U.S. Senate hopeful Joni Ernst would bring Iowa's values to Washington, D.C., and is unlike any lawmaker the city has seen.
Palin was one of many women in politics to attend the "Heels On, Gloves Off!" rally Sunday to support Ernst, a Republican state senator. Others who attended the rally included Nebraska U.S. Sen. Deb Fischer, former Nebraska Gov. Kay Orr and Iowa Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds.
The event was put on by ShePAC...

What’s most interesting here is that you have a SITTING GOP senator..Deb Fischer, jump into the primary...making an endorsement...to me, that speaks volumes..

Are there any of Sarah’s speeches out on video yet? She has made three or four so far in the past two weeks.

I’m not a big fan of women who endorse women simply because they are women.

We are seeing a major new political party form before our eyes. I am not a fan of either branch of the Oligarch Party, but I believe that conservative women have a right to participate in our political process and be evaluated on the issues, and not be targets of vague slurs.

True... but it so happens that in Iowa and Minnesota, the best Senate candidates running are women (Joni Ernst and Julianne Ortman).

Since I don’t know enough to know better, I presume you are correct in your assessments. Thanks for the feedback. As always, time will tell

The list of women seems not bad compared to Ann Wagner, Jenkins and the RNC promoting Kathleen Peters in Florida.
Deb Fischer was the only woman to vote against amnesty. Unfortunately she is the only remotely conservative woman in the Senate.

I'm seeing the same thing, and I don't think it is spontaneous. This weekend, I'm nursing a notion that Palin has previously plotted a path to the Presidency that Rand Paul has inadvertently aided by his bolstering the GOPe's efforts to minimize Ted Cruz.

Then again, it may just be late in the evening and I need to get some sleep. G'night again all.

IMO, so far her “Mama Grizzly” picks have not been very impressive after winning. However, some of the guys (not all) have been top notch.

Just to rub it in guys, I got to go to this. Was 3 ft away from Lady Palin. Didn’t get to shake her hand though, just too many between me and her.

    Ah, yes, Joni Ernst, the
pig farming state senator who has a knife and promises to use it.
A Sarah endorsement is no surprise.
