What a disgrace.
Republican Senator Jeff Flake (R-AZ) said he agreed with former Governor Jeb Bush that illegal immigration can be considered an act of love. Flake posted the comments on Facebook Monday.
The Huffington Post reported:
Sen. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) on Monday agreed with former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush that illegal immigration can be considered an act of love.
Flake, in a Facebook post, praised Bush for speaking so humanely and unapologetically about the motivations of undocumented immigrants in a Fox News appearance that aired earlier this month.
Truth is, I agree with Jeb, and I applaud him for having the guts to say it, Flake wrote in the post on Monday. Growing up here in Arizona, Ive seen what motivates those who come here illegally. Sure, some come with the intent to do harm or simply to take advantage of our generosity. But many come to find work to feed their families. To lump everyone who crosses the border illegally into the same class is unfair and unproductive.
Flake asserted his support for a more secure border and called for immigration reform that takes into account U.S. economic needs and a rational solution for those already here without documentation.
In the same way that rape is.
I’ve been saying for a couple of years now that we need to ditch Flake. He has become an arrogant jerk, and I’m ready for him to go away. By the way, I am his constituent.
I’m in Phoenix and was here before America knew Flake was a flake. He is. In fact his a. and. and the’s. are suspect. He lies for $$$.
The GOP is missing an opportunity to close the border and so is everyone on here insisting that there should be no compromise on illegal immigration.
Flake is a flake. Would voting his fat head out of the senate be an act of love?
Same for an armed robbery.
He was on NPR about a month ago describing how he survived for a week on a deserted island:

He was very chummy with the NPR crowd.
If you vote for a flake, you’re gonna get a flake.
ie repubs becoming moderate democrats via 60+ years of the hegelian dialectic.
Aw jeese, can we get off this love crap. Wetbacks are here because of greed. Nothing else, period. They are here for the free stuff.
I’m now answering my pings on other threads selected at random.
Dis is da cord-ia of choice at the moment.
(It kind of works don’t you think? “Thread” ... “Cord-ia” ...?)
You’re just stringing us along, aren’t you?
And so is bank robbery. After all, many people rob banks to get money for their families. It is an act of love. Bank robbery should not even be a crime at all.
And so is assault. Many people assault others to get money for their families. It is an act of love. Assault should not even be a crime at all.
I could go on and on. Bush and Flake have inspired me. Nothing is a crime.
Of course, nothing entices voters to you faster than supporting illegal immigration and giving them a free pass. Just ask 41 how well Reagan’s amnesty translated into free votes. Man, those ‘Hispanics’ turned out in force to thank Republicans for amnesty.
Hey, look at ‘Hispanic’ politicians! They go before their voters and tell them all the time that ‘life would be so much better if there was more amnesty around here.’ Right? Don’t they do that all the time?
I mean, the ‘Hispanic Caucus’ (there is one in Congress, isn’t there? There seems to be one of everything else...) must ensure that every session of congress is opened with a new proposal to bring amnesty back, and give a free ride to illegals.
Whhhaaaat? These things aren’t happening? But our media tells us about how everyone’s right on board for this issue, about how deeply ‘Hispanic’ voters are focused on the issue, how much they’re eager to welcome back all those gang members who have terrorized their neighborhoods only to (by luck) get deported.
Well, surely the President of Mexico has shown us the way by not imprisoning illegals and making a road to citizenship. After all, he spent so much time lecturing Obama on the topic, surely he led by example..
Whhahhhaaaat???? You mean THAT hasn’t happened either? That Mexico has actually stepped up a enforcement of their border controls? That personal property is being seized by authorities before deporting illegals to help pay for their time in prison for breaking Mexico’s FAR FAR more strict illegal immigration laws.
Hey! I’ve got a great idea! Why don’t we have Republicans utterly emulate liberals and repeatedly try the same experiment over and over again, and each time expect results that are contrary to all previous experiments! Surely THIS round of amnesty will curtail that flood of illegal immigrants, and balance out the economy! The last one worked out JUST FINE. As the millions and millions of Mexicans and other foreign nationals who utterly ignored Regan’s amnesty which nearly broke the back of virtually every federal program and HAS bankrupted the nation.
He was named right he’s a flake!!!
