VAN SUSTEREN: Nothing? Who is sort of your -- who is at the top of your list? Are you considering running?
PALIN: Who is at the top of my list.
VAN SUSTEREN: Let me back up to my other question.
PALIN: No, question at a time. I appreciate those who have fought for America, like Ted Cruz, like Rand Paul. You know though, it doesn't have to be someone who has a title today, someone in office today. In fact, some would say we need to stay clear of those who have followed a conventional political path. Maybe they are part of the problem. There are businessmen and women out there. There are strong family men and women who understand what it is that makes America exceptional and they want to protect that. They want to get back to that. Maybe someone like that will rise and be the candidate in 2016. Maybe that's what we need.
VAN SUSTEREN: Okay now I get to ask that question. Are you considering -- is it still within a possibility that you'll run in 2016?
PALIN: It sounds cliche, but you never say never. Now, I -- at this point in time, I don't have a team of people, you know, getting out there doing these poll-tested whatever they do to let you know if you should run or not. I don't have any of that kind of organization going. I'll never say never....

Such a great patriotic lady. Smart, accomplished, experienced and a fighter. Just have to see what happens. The Repub establishment screwed her over badly when she literally ran the McLame campaign.

If Palin runs then what the media and the Democrats will do to her and her family I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.
I don’t think she’ll run until Trig is older (unfortunately).
I doubt if she will run, but never the less, I would like to see a debate with her and Ms. Clinton. She’s got to prove to the MSM that she is not stupid like they portray her.
I like Palin. But I think she cast a long, long shadow over the 2012 field by not making her intentions clear for so long. I hope she doesn’t do that again for 2016. She IMO really needs to make her intentions clear by early 2015.
Governor Sarah Palin is a woman devoted to God and His Eternal, Inerrant Word. Since the foundation of America is built on Biblical principles, Governor Palin is the one uniquely qualified to restore this country to what it once was.

I love Governor Palin, and she's my first choice for president, but I don't like this answer. She needs to make herself relevant by announcing early, when the conservatives who love her will follow, or she needs to make herself relevant by announcing that she will not run early and clearing the field for other strong conservatives. America needs her to make her intentions known before Rubio, Christie, or another Bush has the nomination locked up.

It’s March of 2014. No other major party candidate has announced. Not Hillary, Rand Paul, Krispy Kreme, Marco, Bush or anyone else.
Agreed, but she should make her intentions known informally early (by the day after this November’s election at the latest) and formally within a week of the first serious announcement. She should also start putting together a campaign staff if she is going to run.
