Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, a 2008 GOP presidential candidate turned media personality, is looking at another bid for the presidency, this time backed by ministers eager to put an evangelical into the White House.
Huckabee will test the waters when he returns home to Little Rock, Ark., December 12-13 to address the Arkansas Renewal Project, part of evangelical organizer David Lane's American Renewal Project. Huckabee had the support of pastors in his 2008 fight against eventual winner Sen. John McCain.
Among the potential candidates looking at a GOP bid, Huckabee is closest to the pastors. He is a social conservative who can quote the Bible as easy as former President Bill Clinton.
According to reports, pastors from Iowa and South Carolina two key political states early in the GOP primary season are meeting with Huckabee during the convention to urge him to run....
OMG!!! The LEFT will PAY him to run!!
Hillary’s VP ?
I think closed primaries might also help. I dont know why any party would have open primaries, I really dont understand that.

Fully agree. The GOP primaries in the early voting States have been swarmed by Dems who push the weaker candidates and ignore the better ones.
Reince P (or however his name is spelled), who heads the GOP thing, should quickly get approval to close the primaries and stop such Dem tactics. .....He should also push hard to stop allowing little Iowa (caucauses) and NE States to be the first voters in primaries. ....I’m fed up with the NE Yankees picking my candidates!!
Another thing... Change the laws regarding closing of the polls and the media disclosure of exit polling. The way it is now, there is little interest for the people in the PST zone to vote when the media has already shown how voters in the EST zone have voted. .......Change the voting hours so that they all close at the same time; regardless of the time zones. ...........Just some random thoughts.
Yet another RINO/GOP-e/Backstabber FATASS.
Oh please, no.
I hope he doesn’t run, and create a larger crowd of Republican candidates, leaving less time for better candidates to tell their message. Having said that, I do believe he’s better than McCain or Romney.
Also, Sen. Rand Paul was on Huckabee’s last radio show today, & maybe they’ll be competitors in the presidential race :)
Neither Huckabee, nor Paul, are on my short list, to say the least.
Ah crap.
Does this mean the FairTax and Chuck Norris will return?
He’ll have the “rapists and murderers applying for parole” vote bloc locked up.
Really? They’re all dressed the same? That picture alone would throw the race.
