We need to change our nomination process. This bit about giving Iowa and New Hampshire so much clout is insane, and keeps on producing sub-standard candidates.

I say 5 primary dates in 10 states on a rotation would work.

2 North, 2 south, 2 west coast, 2 east coast, and two central states on each primary date with the states being chosen by lottery in an off year.

He has no hope of winning Iowa any way. Expect to see him roll into New Hampshire soon though.

“Why wasn’t the elephant in the room (Christie)?”

The door wasn’t big enough.

Hah; that was too easy!

Palin, Lee and Huckabee will not run.

Ryan and Santorum will likely not run

Perry might run

Cruz, Paul and Walker will likely run.

Bush and Christie will almost certainly run

How did they get Governor Christie to speak?
By greasing his hips and ‘Tokyo train shoving’ him through the doorframe.

Christie came up through NJ politics. it would be easier to crawl through a sewer pipe and come up clean than become NJ governor and remain clean. The dems already have the goods on Christie and are eager to position him for the republican nomination so they can spring the trap

Christie is the new mccain/dole/romney

useless in an real fight, there to placate the elites and drive by media.

conservatives need to solidify FAST behind ONE, and unite behind that candidate in order to purge the rinos.

I appreciate the post and of course I’m as interested as anyone but talk about distractions. I honestly think the biggest distraction the left pulls is the Presidential election. No one can resist following them and we tend to get off track.

As Hannity said last night, not the nuclear option, nothing is going to get him off Obamacare. I’m with hime.

Can somebody, anybody convince Perry NOT to run? That whole Shooting Star-to Plummeting Meteor was embarrassing and time consuming. For him, I get the feeling it’s a Vanity Project. Perry (and the missus)has too much Texas sized personal pride to let the Marathon-Debates be the last way the American Public remembers him, one tooth grinding Brain-Freeze after another. Please, Please, No Mas! Put your support behind Walker of Wisconsin, now THAT is where the smart money should go to! Ryan may be too timid in the debates.

Palin probably will not run, but she has my full support if she does and would be a great president.
Lee is not going to run, as you say, for another four years.
Huckabee is sure as hell not going to run and will not have my support if he does, in part because he is such a weak candidate.
Brown is not going to run and is too liberal for me.

Cruz might and is okay.
Ryan might and is okay.
Santorum might but is too weak a candidate.
Perry might but is not a strong national candidate (look at his last election).

Paul definitely will and makes me nervous but might be a good president.
Walker definitely will and would be a good president.

Yeah, exactly. Some question whether Walker is running. I think he will because there’s an opening. You have conservative senators running, and a liberal governor in Krispy. He can essentially run as the governor to Christie’s right.
