".... For the president, I think it actually helps him a little bit more, because remember he's a sitting president. He gets to be be presidential. He might have to tour these areas, talk to residents, declare emergency areas as well."

Even the the guy admit Obama have a lot more leverage as a sitting president, all he has to do is to appear presidential and use fed funds to 'buy out' voters.
What I’m afraid of is a lot more sinister than just politicking. I’m afraid that the evil that shall not be named in the White House is going to use the storm as an excuse to delay the elections — indefinitely.
his voters are soft and will not vote....republicans will tread water to vote....
Get off the conspiracy non-sense, please!
He had the chance to look Presidential...in Libya
Hurricane Sandy is a Democrat?
Takes 0bama's criminal negligence in Benghazi out of the top spot.
Had this happened last month, this Affirmative Action hire might have been right. However, if the storm is not over-hyped but actually is severe, there will be chaos on the east coast with electric power out and everyone having to go to paper ballots.
Every patriot ought to be on guard at the polls, so that thousands of paper ballots are not being marked this weekend by Democrat operatives in advance of the storm. They cheat.
Of course, when considering the expected path of the storm (the North East) not much will be gained from the voters who live in that area, as from DC to Maine, it is almost all, Libs/Rats/Dems/Socialist/Progressives/Commies...but then, I repeat myself.
These people are simultaneously pathetic and sickening.
At best, this is a barely CAT 1 Hurricane that the media is trying to turn into the storm of the century. We Floridians can do a CAT 1 storm on a pogo stick.
Obama visit the voters??
When has THAT ever happened? Like when he talked to the suffering inner-city voters in Chicago? (which was never)
Besides, he’s too busy watching the NBA preseason and having champagne dinners with his celebrity pals. Prez has priorities!
Never let a crises go to waste.
Of course, Obama will be paralyzed with indecision until his pollsters tell him what to do.
That was the problem with the terrorist attack in Libya. No time to conduct public opinion polls before it was all over.
So am I.
I’m sure Obama and his henchmen are looking for ways to fix things so that Der Fuehrer gets another term and maybe declare himself president for life, or something. A massive storm is one possibility. Another would be, should Obama lose and massive riots break out as a result, he could use the unrest as an excuse to nullify the elections and stay in office.
Who would stop him? The spineless Congress? The corrupted Supremes? Our weakened military?
People think Obama will go away quietly. They think there is no possibility of a dictatorship. We have protection and safeguards in the Constitution.
They are wrong.
Textbook definition of:
“Grasping at straws in the wind”
But it looks like the storm will hit the states that support Omuslim the most. Can/will they get to the polls?
I thought Obama was going to heal the planet. What a liar.
Not if the hurricane slaps the crap out of the White House and reminds them that God is still in control...: )
P.S. No I don’t want to see anyone to get hurt but it might get them on their knees praying to God (not Allah the false demon god) for a change
That's the conventional wisdom, anyway. Bad weather keeps the lumpenproletariat in the Democrats' base cozy in their parents' basements, huddled up on the couch eating Cheetos and watching Jerry Springer.
Republicans take their civic responsibility to vote more seriously. There are, after all, fewer of us, and we have to if we ever want to win anything.
Personally, I think O'buckwheat will lose anyway, but I'll take any advantage we can get.
