Jill Biden, the wife of Vice President Joe Biden, will campaign in Minnesota next week.
Events aren't finalized but a Democratic official says Biden will campaign in Minneapolis and Duluth on Oct. 19 and Oct. 20. This will be Jill Biden's second campaign stop in Minnesota since Labor Day.
The announcement comes on the same day that Paul Ryan, the Republican nominee for Vice President, is scheduled to hold a private fundraiser in Minneapolis. Guests are being asked to give at least $1,000 to attend the event. Couples who give $25,000 can attend a private dinner with Ryan.
Ryan has no public events scheduled in the state - a signal that Minnesota may be losing the swing state status it gained in prior election cycles.
Mitt Romney held a private fundraiser in Minnesota in August but held no public events.
Meanwhile, the Obama campaign has made several stops in the state. President Obama last campaigned here in June and Vice President Biden campaigned in Minneapolis and St. Paul in August.
good gravy! Al Franken... do something!
Campaigning in Minnesota is bad news for the Obozo campaign..something is up..I never understood why Minnesota is a Dem state..they elected Michelle Bachmann but won’t elect Mitt Romney? Hopefully Jill Biden campaigning in MN means they don’t have that state in the bag
LOL. He’s in more trouble than they want to admit. Obama is spending money on ads here in New Jersey.
Obviously, their internal polls are signalling some serious issues in that state. NMB poll showed Romney creaming Obama with Independents.
After her idiot husbands performance, I wonder who she’s campaigning for!
Michele represents my district which does NOT include Minneapolis or St.Paul. Like most states, the parasites infest the cities. Unfortunately, there’s more of them than those of us in outlying conservative areas.
If you hear they are coming to Michigan also this will be really great news.
Its kind of like here in California..you take out San Francisco and Los Angeles and the rest is pretty Conservative. I live in LA so I am stuck here amongst the liberal loons..but oddly enough, not ONE Obama sign in sight..but I still see some Obama stickers showing up every once in a while, which makes me gag, but this is LA after all
Yet more evidence the wheels are coming off the “Hope” train to “Change”-ville...
“LOL. Hes in more trouble than they want to admit. Obama is spending money on ads here in New Jersey.”
Any chance those ads are designed to bleed into Pennsylvania? I can’t believe O is worried about Jersey, no matter how much trouble he’s in.
I read today that Bill Clinton was in Detroit so that might say something about Michigan being in play
I’ll bet they’ve been bleaching her teeth all day today. They’ve still got to install the twinkling Christmas lights though.
If there is any deep deep blue state that Romney can win it is New Jersey.
He was here for Debbie Stabenow fund raiser. Limited audience to supporters.
I have seen where Obama was up 22 in California and that is down to 14. I have my fingers crossed that we will be in play before this is over.
I saw a poll that Romney is up HUGE with Independent voters here in CA but unfortunately because the two largest cities are so full of liberal loons it doesn’t matter..Oh just saw a twitter post with Paul Ryan leaving in his motorcade in Minnesota right now, don’t know if it was for a fundraiser or a campaign event
We are both in the same district. Nice you have you here ;)
The 6th holds almost all of the suburbs that tend to vote to the right. They did it that way to keep the inner city districts far to the left.
