Chuck Todd appeared on MSNBC’s Morning Joe earlier today to discuss Team Obama strategy — and perhaps staffing — in the wake of their debate debacle. Six days later, not only is the Barack Obama campaign still talking about the debate, they’ve released an ad about perhaps the least important issue mentioned in it … Big Bird. Instead of changing the subject, they’re continuing to extend the damage, and Mike Barnicle asked Todd about their strange obsession with the debate rather than finding anything else to discuss. Todd agrees, and says that “Chicago” may be making some personnel changes in the final days of the campaign, according to his sources on Team Obama:

Yesterday, I wrote that the continuing focus on the debate by Team Obama was one reason that Romney’s bounce could turn into a surge. Instead of putting the debate in the rear-view mirror by offering a substantive declaration of a second-term agenda — which is already several months late in coming — Obama and his campaign chose perhaps the least substantive moment from the debate to bring it all back up to voters. This is a campaign that has entirely run out of gas, so much so that the only topic they can handle is Big Bird. That doesn’t look presidential; it doesn’t look like anyone at Team Obama really cares about looking presidential and addressing the big issues any longer. They’re defaulting on the big issues and second-term agenda to Romney. If that continues, the polling shift will soon transform into a surge.

I have never seen the mood of a national election change on a dime as it did this year. That debate will go down in history as the inflection point that sent Obozo to his retirement.
Meanwhile, the BIG NEWS today with the regular state-controlled “media” is about how the gas prices are about to “plummet”. LOL! The liberals really are hittin’ the recreational drugs hard right now. Come on! How the hell do they know that gas prices are about to drop? And why are they pimping that? I thought their “messiah” wanted the gas prices to go up. Last month, the commie libs in the “media” were pushing a poll telling us that we don’t care about high gas prices. What happened to that? LOL! What a bunch of buffoons.

The reason they don’t stop talking about it is Romney dealt that little marxist POS the biggest and most one-sided drubbing in his pampered life and they are still literally in shock over it.

Amazing that the Big Bird non-issue is considered worthy of an ad campaign. On second thought, not that amazing when they’re obviously grasping at straws. But it’s not the only thing they think they have going out of the debate. The other is that Romney lied so fast about everything that the poor POTUS (and he undeniably is poor) couldn’t begin to keep up. But they promise he will come out with his own barrage of lies next time.
Let them keep talking. Obama just can’t handle everyone knowing he’s a loser and is just determined to try and make people think they can’t believe their own lying eyes.
Truth...the worst thing for an Obama supporter is to be laughed at, derided, and chided for being unhip, uncool and unconnected with reality.

At a full service station, I saw 6.09 for unleaded!! - pretty much with these prices, there is no travel unless absolutely necessary. Wait til people start dying because they can't afford the drive to the hospital.

First we hear “It’s a drag. I have to do my homework,” from Zero, then Big Bird becomes a major campaign issue, then the Left attacks Romney for not campaigning at Nickelodeon?
The funniest thing about this is the new attack is on Josh Romney for saying he and his brothers taught his father how to debate an “obstinate child.” Don’t ever imply that a homework-dissing, Big Bird and Nickelodeon loving, adult male is childish unless he’s white, because otherwise it’s a dog whistle for a racist slaveholder term. /snark
