Bill Kristol is part of the "loyal opposition" to Obama's administration. Nothing too searing, nothing too earthshaking.
Throw in a little condemnation of his own supposed-compadres, and you have a DC elitist who doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of understanding real Americans and what their problems are. He is comfortable in his DC community standing as a token conservative Sunday Media voice. He is comfortable because he still gets invited to parties and functions thrown by liberals because he's "one of the good ones." If I were to meet the appeasing, backbiting little pissant in person, I'd probably deck his ass.

All networks have their “experts”, and most, if not all, have a background in politics or journalism. Journalists are not experts anymore than pool cleaners are, and if the ones who have a background in politics were uber smart, then why are we 16 trillion in debt?
When politicians balance the budget every year, and pay off our debt, then they should feel free to enter into a career in punditry but until then, they need to STFU and go into hiding.

Same here. There is better conservative thought available than those two magazines. History passed them by. And Bill Kristol is a colossal douchebag.

I understand that Shep is the token dumass liberal for FN, but must he get TWO hour long shows daily???
One is nausea but two is projectile vomiting!

He seems to be part of this insufferable group of fogies, that came on the scene in the 80s and early 90s, that somehow still passes for conservative.
You mean there are no other real conservative talking-heads, younger than 55, that can be on these shows?

For a while back it looked like his buggery caused AIDS was about to get him—he was looking really bad— but lately he has been doing better so I suspect his high ranking FN “keeper” is responsible for his apparent, and probably very expensive and effective medical therapy.

Years ago I was hooked on American Spectator then they changed their format completely. I think they did a comeback with the old format - does anyone read it anymore?

We have Bill Kristol to thank for Mitt Romney to begin with. His discomfort at this point is playing for the world smallest violin.

Shep makes well north of $10 million dollars a year, plus a Cadillac benefit package. The only people at FNC who make more are Sean Hannity and Ted Baxter. He can afford his own medications.

Do we?
My understanding is that he was looking for an alternative to Romney during the primaries and promoting Gingrich and Santorum for a while.
Kristol may have looked to Romney in 2008 as an alternative to McCain, but he certainly wasn't in Romney's camp this primary season.

Mr. Kristol also “discovered” Governor Sarah Palin and convinced Senator McCain to make her his running mate.

Every single thing Obama says will be filtered through the media until it shines like gold. Everything out of Romneys mouth is going to be slathered with mud. Thats no excuse for conservatives to pile on, as though jockeying for an invitation to MSNBCs Christmas bash.So true!

Kristol is a beltway RINORomney may be a RINO, but he's not one of the 'beltway boys', so he's suspect.
