Police and organizers shut down proceedings at one of Missouri's largest caucuses today, as Ron Paul supporters feuded with local GOP leaders.
"It's like the Hatfields and the McCoys around here," St. Charles County's former GOP chairman told ABC News, after police arrived on-scene with a helicopter and removed Paul backers.
In St. Charles, an exurb of St. Louis and one of the state's largest GOP counties, Paul supporters sought to elect their own chairman and adopt their own rules when proceedings opened - both of which are part of standard caucus rules and procedure. But as they argued with the caucus chair, Paul supporters held video cameras - against caucus rules, according to a GOP official who was there - and things became contentious.
"It turned into a little food fight within the caucus, between the caucus chairman trying to control the caucus and certain elements, I guess with Ron Paul, trying to be heard," said Tom Kipers, a former chairman of the St. Charles GOP, who attended the caucus at Francis Howell North High School....

really... I thought paul was a republican...probably more so than romney..what happened to the rule of law?
The surrender monkey may put an R behind his name, but he is no more of a Republican than his hero Obama. Republicans do not blame America for every problem in the world. Republicans do not want to experiment with perverts in the military. Republicans do not want legalized drugs and prostitution.
Cut and Run is in NO way a Republican.

And Republicrats definitely belong in jail. for what, being republicans? how ironic. such an event would require a police state the scope of which would presumably make dr. nutz's head explode.

The Paul supporters were following the law. It was the temp GOP chair that has engaged in fraud and stopped a legitimate caucus from happening.

"Cut and Run"?? Does anyone believe that BS anymore? What planet have you been living on the past 10 years? Jesus.
The War on Drugs is an abysmal failure. The War on Terror is an abysmal failure. America has been the loser. Big Government has been the winner. Yet it's "conservative" to support these things? Get un-brainwashed my friend. Ron Paul is pointing out the truth here and is the only actual conservative in this race.

Anybody with any common sense does. The surrender monkey blames America for every problem in the world. He would rather surrender to the islamic terrorists than defeat them. He wants to put perverts in the military. He collects more earmarks than any candidate running, including the democrats. He demands under-aged girls be allowed to cross state lines in order to receive abortions when they are illegal in the state they live.
The War on Drugs is an abysmal failure. The War on Terror is an abysmal failure
So because we have not yet won you agree with Cut and Run that we should just give up and surrender?
The surrender monkey gets his name honestly.

The War on Terror should take care of any constitutional liberties that the War on Drugs wasn’t able to eliminate.

Considering today’s “Republicans” are more Willard Romney than Ronald Reagan... Is that a bad thing?

“Missouri’s largest caucuses”
That’s the most idiotic system which was ever invented.
Caucuses should simply not exist.
Either they organize primaries or stay out of the way.
Even the primaries with their lists of signature in every district and with democrat votes skewing the results, are out of time, like the rest.
They should ALL take place the same day in the 50 states and only open to registered republicans.
I’ve never seen such a disaster like this year.
The idea that the guy with more money wins the “lottery” is so abhorrent, that it makes me puke.

Paul and his supporters should have been expelled from the race already. Who needs hooligans in an election?

To a conservative, being a Republican is secondary. After all, what good is a “republican” if they aren’t actually trying to CONSERVE our Constitution?

Agreed. They are Mussolini as compared to Hitler. Or is Petain a more apt comparison?
Paultards are their own worst enemy most times. Belief in Truther conspiracies, tax evasion schemes, etc... Not to mention the juvenile tactics they sometimes employ to grab attention.
However, from the video available, it really does look like the Chair violated Robert's Rules and deliberately gerrymandered the Delegate list.
"Victory goes to those who show up." This is the general rule of thumb for caucus votes. If those folks were there, and had the rest out numbered, then they should have gotten their hand count instead of the voice vote.
If you don't want Paultards taking over your caucus... Get involved.

I think they let Ron Paul be there to reprepsent the “republicans” because it makes them easy to marginalize.
