Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin discussed why she hasn't endorsed a candidate yesterday on FOX Business Network. Sarah said Newt Gingrich was the toughest fighter in the race.
"You know that is what I'm saying today. I'm saying that David because Newt has learned through that school of hard knocks. And you know that is where character is shaped and that is where character is revealed. In times of controversy and conflict. Not at a time of convenience and comfort. I see that in Newt that he has learned, that he has been sharpened and strengthened through all of that and I think that would bode well for what it is that we need in terms of fighting that Obama machine that we'll be up against."

Btw, Jim Robinson supported Huckabee in 2008, the last time Huck ran.
That was then, this is now. The alternative was McQueeg. C’mon man.
I supported Richard Nixon in 1968 and 1972. So?
She had to choose between being governor and going through tough times with her family, and possibly having to declare bankruptcy, to fight off frivolous ethics charges put forth by Commies in Alaska, or resign her position to deal with those allegations, and write a book to help pay with dealing with them. I think she chose wisely. She still has her family, some dignity, and the support of many of millions of Americans that came to love her shortly after finding out about her life and who she is.
AGAIN, to "refresh your memory" and enlighten others:
Santuckabee-Huckatorum would be an awful ticket. Two phony conservatives hoping that if they stress a small handful of issues loudly enough, folks will over look their big government tendencies.
You can’t argue with idiots like that, who argue from a sound byte 23 IQ point of view. Clearly, Palin’s resignation was a brilliant move for her, her family, her state and her party.
I call that leadership. The nabobs can’t get that through their very thick skulls to their very tiny brains.
OK, I’m no body language maven, but she smiles exactly after the words “brokered convention” are uttered!
Gov Palin was crucified because she was a blue collar mayor who became governor and attacked the ruling elite families of Alaska. CEO class and political families do not like to be attacked and their crony schemes broken. So she got smart, why be the target when you can be the kingmaker and make lots of money on the side (TV show, book deals, speeches etc). I agree with you, she made the right move to use a different medium to affect the nations politics. This is call using the terrain to your advantage based on your own assets and vulnerabilities. I call that smart combat. Anyone who wants to spend 1 billion dollars campaigning for a job that pays 500,000 dollars is nuts.
Newt is a former adulterer. Rick is a continue sweater vest wearer. Get back to me when you have an original thought in your head. I won’t wait up for you.
There is something very odd about this video. It says it was uploaded to YouTube on the 17th, but in the video, Sarah Palin says there are 46 states left to go so this seems to be the interview she did after Florida and before Nevada, which was several weeks ago.
*************************
I *think* she means contests. Being that there are only 4 with bound delegates thus far. NH, SC, FL, NV. The others will be allocated at the convention.
I am also starting to wonder about things being decided at convention— not brokered. Can the Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands somehow come into play, if things are tight????
The GOP-e is really creeping me out.
Would we want to call this her “that” speech? Couldn’t resist. Twelve, count ‘em, twelve, in three sentences. ;)
Newt was a “former” adulterer - until he did it again. And his version of “repentance” is to pursue “annulment” via the Catholic Church. That isn’t someone who is sorry /repentant of their past.
Oh my who died and made you 'judge'?
BTW, I am almost positive this video is from a few weeks ago, before her CPAC speech.
Best,
Chris
You clearly have no eye for talent and no idea what an election for President is all about. Have you ever contemplated just what it is about your life that makes you so obsessed with this? I think you need to get to the bottom of that for your own sake.

Establishment talking points are embedded in that tiny space, with no room for a crowbar to pry them out.
