When asked if she has a candidate she would like to endorse in the 2012 GOP field, Fmr. Gov. Sarah Palin (R-Alaska) said she hasn't made up her mind as of now, and that it wouldn't matter. Palin said her endorsement would amount to a "hill of a beans."
"I think today, my personal endorsement, probably doesn't amount to a hill of beans today, at this point in the race," Palin said on FOX News' "Hannity" program.
Palin said later in the race perhaps her endorsement may have more weight, but admitted at this moment it doesn't matter. Referring to herself as a pundit, Palin said voters have to do their homework and shouldn't rely on the endorsement.
"I am leaning toward the candidate who can best articulate he being the antithesis of Barack Obama. He understanding what it takes to reform our country and not allow it to be fundamentally transformed away from the exceptionalism that is America. But, he who can promise to because he has experience in doing so," Palin said when asked what kind of candidate she would endorse. Transcript below....

That’s probably the nicest way to say “none of the above.”
We ought to start a "Look in the mirror, Sarah" campaign. She has to know that she's the only person on the current horizon who meets her personal expectations of a candidate.
Well, she did just tweet this about half an hour ago...
SarahPalinUSA Sarah Palin
Glad Santorum wants to re-industrialize USA w/ eliminating the corp income tax on manufactures.
She shrinks before our very eyes.
Sounds like a lot of novice freepers.
Yeah, it’s almost like nobody searches for her online anymore. Oh, wait...

Hell, at this point, I wish SHE was running.
I don’t think Sarah realizes what a following she has.
She’s trying to persuade herself and us that that isn’t so.
I was thinking Ezekiel? found his mantle cumbersome and eventually threw it on the ground and called out the God of Israel.
Annointings are hard to shirk. Samson defiled his oath as a Nazarite and was still used by God.
Reading between the lines, she seemed to be in a curiously and amusingly mischievous mood in the interview, saying things like “my endorsement doesn’t amount to a hill of beans,” and “I’m just a pundit.” She knows she’s in the cat-bird seat with this hugely unsettled primary situation, and can torpedo any candidate she wishes.

Let me be #1 in her favor. She’s been the only one with the balls to call out the corruption of our sorry political system.
There’s two that need immediate torpedoing.
Interestingly, right after the interview, she also just tweeted a link to her Iowa speech, where she really laid down the law in regards to the rampant corruption and crony capitalism of DC.
Indeed.
Of course she does...but she also recognizes some of that has fallen off once she declined running...and natural that would occur. It's a no biggy to her and should not be to us either.
But she still has a following left and the candidates are asking for her endorsement. She is right it wouldn't matter now...but later...and glad she's holding off.
She shrinks before our very eyes.
You know, it’s pathetic that a month before Sarah came out and announced she wasn’t going to enter the race, I predicted that many who were singing her praises at that point would be bashing her in the aftermath of a decision not to run.
I was right.
Perhaps I (and a few other FReepers scattered hither and yon) have a malady not often found among many in our Post-modern world today — not even among “Conservatives”. I have this thing called “consistency.”
I supported Sarah before she announced her intentions regarding the 2012 Presidential race, and I support her NOW. I believe her when she says that she prayerfully considered her options over a period of months, and discussed it with her family — and this is the way she believed the Lord led her. I may not understand what God is up to, but I have no reason to doubt the integrity of Sarah Palin, nor her sincerity regarding seeking God’s will about a run for President.
No sir, Sarah Palin does not “shrink before our very eyes.” Sarah Palin has always stood tall as an Alaskan, an American, and a woman of principles and honor. Though she may not be where I wish her to be this election season, I perceive that she is where God wills her to be. That is what matters. His will be done.
She makes the haters on this board look very stupid.
