No, Newt is the new George Herbert Bush—because Cain is going to be a Reagan like President and Gingrich will be his Veep.

Gingrich was written off early as a candidate that was simply looking to run in order to eventually be able to increase fees for speaking engagements and rake in cash from book sales and perhaps even land a cushy tv gig a la Mike Huckabee or Sarah Palin. In retrospect Palin is looking like a genius by being able to milk her 2 months as a national candidate for millions of dollars without having to put herself or her family through it again.

Doncha love it? This is supposed to be a news article, but instead they infect it with a biased statement that nowhere in the article is supported by any factual evidence. While all that conjecture may be true, I don't want to read editorial opinion unless it is marked as such. And the MSM wonders why revenues continue to shrink.

Romney and Perry have good commercials. Gingrich has the best presence in the forums. Cain is an American success story and a beltway outsider ...a beltway outsider ...a beltway outsider ...a beltway outsider ...

McCain is an incoherant, bumbling, old RINO who hates conservatives, loves democrats and the media.

Gingrich is a conservative who flirts with liberalism on occasion. He speaks in a way that is perfectly understandable to the average person, and at times, causes people to rise from their seats in applause.

A Gingrich presidency would be a good thing, as long as there is a hard-right congress to check him with he falls under the spell of liberalism.

Actually, Romney is the new McCain, he’ll cross the aisle 5 minutes into a presidency when the media starts talking bad about him.

I’m from Georgia ... or at least I lived there for 18 years and I’ll tell you this much ... MOST Georgians do not like Newt Gingrich and would not want to be placed in a position of having to vote for him because they’re voting against Obama.

Newt is an ‘old school’ GOP mainliner who is into cozying up to Democrats if it achieves HIS agenda. Politics makes strange bedfellows ... and Gingrich’s political bed has had lots of strangers in it.

PS that was not a sexist remark so please do not ban me from Free Republic.

Newt is a historian; he’s not Presidential.

The second the MSM thought Newt was going to be the GOP Candidate, they’d be hauling his ex-wife and a boat load of women who allegedly knew him when out to parade in front of the media cameras.

The ONLY reason they’re trying to besmirch Herman Cain is because they’re afraid that WE THE PEOPLE are going to influence the GOP and Reince Priebus to support him.

The MSM only skewers politicians they’re afraid of ... and they poke at those they want the public to think they’re afraid of. And We The People are onto their ALINSKY tactics: 9. “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” 4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.”
